Hugs to you, sounds like your baby had a full and happy life, but it hard to let go.
I had to put down 3 beloved pets in the past 2 years - an 18 year old cat, 16 year old dog and 6 year old dog with bone cancer. It is like losing part of the family.

In fact, weren’t all of our first, frontline heroes NOT vaccinated, as well? Those are the ones protesting (I saw in MO) saying, Yesterday hero, Today zero...or, something along those lines. :-(

Corduroy got a wood casket lined with his favorite fluffy blankie. He got buried on the hillside between some trees to protect the spot. It wasn’t one of his places he went went outside, but probably better than it getting run over by a tractor everyday.

(TY for your kind words about corduroy. I’m actually pretty glad I have cotton to focus on now, otherwise I’d be lost. Kinda like she is, poor thing. Luckily she was the smart one, so if anyone can manage being blind it would be her. She may not hide as well as she used to though. That girl had a gift for hiding when she knew we were going to the cabin.)
