God Bless Corduroy and you at this very sad time.😥
Oh CB. I am so sorry. Such a sad day for you.
My baby boy is gone.
I’m so grateful he died at home and didn’t have the stress of a vet visit. Although he never minded, he loved everybody, and even purred at the Vets. I’ve had more than one that told me he was their favorite patient.
True to form, hubby yelled at me first then ran out to dig a hole. That’s his way of helping. That’s why I needed Roy so much, he was my emotional support system. He and Cooper.
I’m so grateful God let me have this sweet, loving, mellow darling cat for 16 years. He was quite a gift. The perfect companion. He’s the only animal I’ve ever had that had a fan club. People would come over just to see him, usually children but a few adults. He loved belly rubs and would knead his paws in the air, purring loudly. At one Church I went to people would come over every month, and one of them when he moved to a different Church shared in front of the whole congregation how much he would miss corduroy. Roy would come over and sit next to him every single time and purr. Roy knew how to make people feel special.
I’ll see him and his little sister Cashmere at the rainbow bridge.
Now, I need to figure out how to help Cotton. Her vision is getting worse, she is now walking into things. She has taken up residence in the basement, which makes it harder to see her a lot, but she needs to feel comfortable. She has her own little compound down there.
It’s hard to say good-by to our furry friends. Tears.
Such a wonderful little companion you had - I’m crying for you this morning. (((Big hug from Canada)))
I’m so sorry for your loss.
I picture him happy and healthy, now, no pain....purring, still.
Loved the pics of them, in the snow.
He was a steadfast friend, through the end. Glad he passed, at home.
((Hugs)) and comfort prayers.
My sympathies to you,CB.
You were so good to him as well.
A great match.
TY s&s, yes lots of tears but they are for my loss - he is pain-free now, getting lots of belly rubs.
TY Judy. Hugs back. Even if we get arrested for it ;)
Aw, that’s so sweet you remembered the snow pictures. Yes I’ve never had an animal pass at home. I don’t know if it was good or not because he couldn’t tell me. But it’s over and he had a good evening, purring and being held.
TY exit, I appreciate the kind words.
So sorry Cotton! My thoughts and prayers are with you.
LOL...in Dementia Joe’s mind.....that IS an 18 wheeler, and he IS on the road.
Oh, CB, I’m so so sorry for your loss. I’m sure he was happy you were with him till the end. He was blessed to have you and you were certainly blessed to have him.
I’m sorry to hear that. Such a sad day for you.
So sorry for you loss, CB.
Big hugs and Love.
