TOKYO -- Stina Blackstenius scored a pair of goals and Sweden once again stunned the United States at the Olympics with a 3-0 victory Wednesday in the women's soccer tournament.
The Americans, ranked No. 1 in the world and the favorites to win gold in Tokyo, were riding a 44-match unbeaten streak heading into the match.

Sweden now leads Group G heading into Saturday's game against Australia in Saitama, while the United States faces New Zealand. The top two teams in the group advance to the knockout round.

You hate the country as much as Antifa? We have a lot of very patriotic good athletes in the Olympics. No need to shun them. The USWNT are not one I support and there are individuals such as Berry. The other two weightlifters with him were embarrassed by her conduct, they stood and sang along with the national anthem with hands over their hearts. Why not support them?
Keep in mind this same team lost to 15 years old and under Soccer team in 2017. This was after they were world champs.

A very real reason trans women should not play as women.
If it had been up to me, anyone, any team, that knelt or otherwise disrespected the Flag and our Country would have been immediately and irrevocably dropped. In fact, I would bar them from ever competing to represent the US in any future games.
You can hold all the personal feelings and opinions you want. But when you represent something bigger than yourself - be it a company, organization, or a Country, you put your personal {expletive} aside and act in the best interests of that entity. If you can't do that, then don't step up, step back.

The U.S. women’s soccer team did even worse in their competition with the Swedish Bikini Team.
I just don’t think they wanted to be there in the first place.
I think the Olympics should be cancelled anyway. No fans, lord knows how many athletes won’t even be able to compete due to COVID, so all Gold Medals will come with asterisks anyway.
Too busy ogling them.
