Could Pfizer and Moderna Be in Trouble After the Latest COVID Vaccine Findings?
Motley Fool ^ | Keith Speights And Brian Orelli

Posted on 07/10/2021 9:42:17 AM PDT by BenLurkin

Brian Orelli: There's a bit of an extrapolation going on here. The researchers looked at memory B cells, which tend to provide more long-term protection than, let's say, antibodies. They looked at those in the lymph nodes and found the cells were there as long as 15 weeks.

Typically, they'd mostly be gone by four to six weeks. So that's the basis of this claim that it could offer protection for years. If true, that will be a big blow obviously to vaccine makers, at least for Moderna and BioNTech.

Pfizer would be fine because it's so diversified. It's really hard to make an argument for the valuations of Moderna and BioNTech right now if these vaccines are one and done over a couple of years. They really need to have ongoing sales until they can get growth from other drugs in their pipelines.

Speights: Right. Obviously, if these vaccines provide immunity for multiple years, these companies aren't going to make nearly as much money as they expect and a lot of investors expect.

I think that’s the point.

Big Pharma DESIGNED the vax sort of like Microsoft was “designed” - so you had to have constant “updates”.

The vax is a purposeful population decreaser. Intended to kill future generations, not necessarily this one.

Article is an investment point of view

Exactly - the article is about how the vaccines are even more effective at producing long term immunity than even their producers thought they may be and how that could affect sales going forward.

But the responses indicate people did not even read this...again, it's all about the narrative. Fact and truth are irrelevant.

Yeah, but did he GUARANTEE it? LOL! Probably only one individual that I would listen to to take it. And he has way higher power than any of these assclowns. And no, I didn’t always agree with PDJT on everything.

then biden became president and opened the border, invited, welcomed, and continues to spread thousands of disease carrying invaders across our country during a so called global pandemic...

biden’s actions prove we’re being lied to about the severity of this so called “deadly virus”...

I’m not sure what ‘misinformation’ you are referring to. The emergency meeting of the CDC last month in which they established a link between the shots and heart inflammation in young men is not ‘misinformation’. Don’t believe me? Look it up yourself. People who have died days after having received is not misinformation. Why do you think 15% of Americans who got the first didn’t get the second? Because, as people I know, they got sick as dogs. What fool would go back for a 2nd after the first one knocked you off your feet for days.

Before this special vaccine came about a company would have pulled their vaccines many months ago after all the deaths and side effects. They're still desperately pushing them.

stock speculation. The companies have already made their money on the vaccines through sales to world govts. From the start the companies knew this was a one-of so it’s not like their entire business model is based on one vaccine. Just like the ebola vaccine marketed by Merck - small audience, sporadic use, low profit govt sales. Doesn’t affect their stock price but generates lots of positive publicity that drives stock prices and employment interest.

Absolutely the banality of saving lives that simply ended through natural causes. A coronavirus death is merely a natural death, it’s nothing special or worse than any other loss of life. Spare me the “saving lives” rhetoric, that has the ethical connotation of saving lives from fire, accident, homicide something unnatural. And by doing something heroic. A death from covid is nothing of the sort. It’s utterly banal, a statistic, no different from a death from cancer or a heart attack or influenza.

A vaccine is a medical achievement, but no more heroic than medical professionals doing their duty as per usual. The deaths are merely natural events. The deaths prevented are merely medical science doing its thing.

Get over coronavirus. Get over your fear and horror of death, the most natural thing of all. This isn’t an emergency. It’s not the end, although some people like you fear it’s the end of them - which in their narcissistic worldview somehow equates to the end of the world.

The best thing for people who are afraid of the virus is to get infected. There is a sort of poetic justice in the most cowardly getting what they feared. A coward dies a thousand deaths - or doesn’t, because most people survive the damn thing. Get it and get over it. Enough is enough already.

Bless him, but he appointed Sleepy Jeff Sessions and Bloated Bill Barr too.

He can be very wrong sometimes. He’s human.

What nihilistic crap! All people eventually die. That doesn’t mean that people who save lives don’t save lives. You would have human life - God’s gift to us - be absolutely meaningless.

Your religious sensibilities aside, we are discussing statistics and science.If life is from God, so is death. Accept it and live your life without fear. And yes I’ve had relatives die of it. I’ve had it myself.

It isn’t any kind of reason to panic, lock down, stop living life or make some sort of moral issue out of a mere virus. It’s a natural event, like a tsunami or volcano. Keep calm and carry on.

Just to be clear - according to the article the trouble is not because vaccines were bad, but because they turned out to be even better than Pfizer and Moderna wanted them to be.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just to be more clear -
The life of the vaccine is not the same thing as whether the vaccine is (according to you) “bad” or good. It is about how long it stays in a person’s system...
I know people who now extremely regret getting the jab and would probably welcome a short lived impact.
