Need some input concerning using Ivermectin
terart

Posted on 07/09/2021 6:43:54 PM PDT by terart

HI all, My family has all been diagnosed with Covid and all very sick.

I started everyone on the protocol by EVMS which says to take a dose on day 1 and day 3. Unfortunately, on day 6 we are all still very sick. Should I restart the Ivermectin?

look for monoclonal antibody infusion centers. if you put monoclonal antibody covid in your search engine you will get a wealth of infirmation including where infusion centers are located. it should be of no cost to you as well

Covid does much more than attack the lungs. It is now classified as a cardiovascular disease. It attacks multiple organ systems, anyplace that has ACE2 receptors. Covid has been killing people by blood clots and kidney failure. If it provokes a cytokine storm your situation can go from mild to critical in a very big hurry.

Absolutely. You can talk to anyone in the health industry that has had to deal with COVID patients on any large basis. This is not something to gamble with at all.

That’s pathetic. Doesn’t need to be practicing medicine. He may not have known anything to treat the COVID itself but definitely could prescribe things like the inhaler you mention to treat some of the serious symptoms to provide relief and prevent worse things from developing potentially.

Wrong! The doctor I talked to at Kaiser said under no circumstances should the animal form of ivermectin be used by humans. I ask for you to talk that idea over with your doctor.

Ivermectin is safe. Any MD who says says its not safe has bought into the deep state indoctrination.

Your doctor has issues.

Here is a “Kaiser-friendly” public radio station that, after pointing demanding fingers at people who do this, talks with a disease expert who does it, then says others shouldn’t, because it breeds bacterial resistance.

https://www.wbur.org/commonhealth/2019/11/26/veterinary-antibiotics-humans

The author admits military people have done this for years without issue.

Get your panties out of a wad.

"Get your panties out of a wad."

Is this how you treat others who have a legitimate reason to think differently than you? I consulted a medical doctor and you get insulting when I gave his medical advice. Have you consulted a medical doctor?

A legitimate doctor follows the Federal Drug Administration. Any drug that has not completed clinical trials, cannot be prescribed. Ivermection is in clinical trials right now. Until those trials are complete, doctors at Kaiser cannot prescribe. This is not indoctrination. It is merely following the “Do no harm” precautions that doctors at Kaiser follow.

“Any drug that has not completed clinical trials, cannot be prescribed.”

Ivermectin passed its trials many decades ago.

From Wikipedia:

Ivermectin was discovered in 1975 and came into medical use in 1981.[10][11] It is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines.[12] Ivermectin is FDA-approved as an antiparasitic agent.[13]

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivermectin

Doctors prescribe all sorts of drugs “off-label,” and the FDA, a part of the US Government, says it's perfectly healthy and fine:

https://www.fda.gov/patients/learn-about-expanded-access-and-other-treatment-options/understanding-unapproved-use-approved-drugs-label

Get over yourself.

Indian Bar Association Threatens to Sue WHO Chief Scientist for Spreading COVID-19 Misinformation
June 8, 2021 9:23, Last Updated: June 8, 2021 14:37
By Meiling Lee
The Indian Bar Association has taken legal action against the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Chief Scientist Dr. Soumya Swaminathan for allegedly spreading disinformation on the use of ivermectin to treat COVID-19.

The Epoch Times
The association (IBA) served a legal notice (pdf) on Swaminathan on May 25, claiming that she was “spreading disinformation and misguiding the people of India, in order to fulfill her agenda” and sought to prevent her from “causing further damage.”

They further stated that Swaminathan, in her statements against the use of ivermectin, ignored research and clinical trials from two organizations—the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care (FLCCC) Alliance and the British Ivermectin Recommendation Development (BIRD)—who have presented solid data showing ivermectin prevents and treats COVID-19.

“Dr. Soumya Swaminathan has ignored these studies/reports and has deliberately suppressed the data regarding effectiveness of the drug Ivermectin, with an intent to dissuade the people of India from using Ivermectin,” the IBA said in a statement (pdf).

You obviously don’t read the labels: “Ivermectin is FDA-approved as an antiparasitic agent.” It’s use as a therapy and preventative for COVID-19 is under clinical trials. For that purpose, people have to wait for the clinical trials to be completed. Our medical system is the best in the world because those who practice have the professional integrity not to jump the gun. Until FDA approval, Ivermection for COVID-19 is just Snake Oil.

I can get over myself, but I cannot get over people like you who do not read the label and follow medical protocol.

Not if they don’t trust the FDA. If they want to take the risk, they can open the container and use it.

Your advice for monoclonal antibody infusion centers is good advice. This type of therapy helped President Trump. What is unclear to me is how difficult the drugs are to deliver, requiring a one-hour infusion followed by one to two hours of observation. What makes it difficult are the people who need monoclonal antibodies are at the most contagious stage of disease, making it tricky to deliver the drugs in facilities like cancer or dialysis centers that commonly deliver medication by infusion. Do you know how they are tackling this difficulty?

You obviously do not understand what the term, “off label” means for doctors.

I found the infusion center and it is at a hospital by me BUT don’t I have to get a doctor to prescribe? I am worried they won’t prescribe it for my son- he is 18, 6’1 and maybe 205 at this point. Wasting away because he has been non stop coughing for at least 7 days...nothing touching it. Doctor said if he didn’t start getting noticeable better within next 2 days then he will need to go to hospital to get chest scanned. My fear is they will admit and then not approve the infusion and I will have no say

Wife and I (62 yo) had Covid in May this year (confirmed by test). Took ivermectin on day one and three. Also took quercetin 500mg twice daily and zinc 50mg daily. 101.4 Fever broke evening of day one. No other symptoms, except fatigue. Breathing and Oxygen levels good throughout, no coughing or lung infection (had a chest x-ray to confirm) all clear, no impact. Never lost sense of smell or taste.
I take Vitamin D and C and Zinc daily, and have doneso sinceearlyin pandemic.

"If they want to take the risk, they can open the container and use it."

I can open my bottle of Oxycodone my dentist gave me for pain from oral surgury, grinding up one of the 5 mg tablets and snorting it. The bottle label says, "Take one tablet (5 mg) by mouth every 4 hours for pain." It would be my choice to snort it but I would recommend to myself to follow the instructions on the label--even though plenty of other people are snorting it and do not give a damn about reading or following the label.

Here is what you NEED to know about ivermectin:

If oxygen level ok they will likely not admit him. He needs steroids and monoclonal antibodies. You can call the infusion center and see if they have a doc they work with But either way he needs care - the ER may be your inky choice
