It could be that's she's in the beginning stages of a mental illness; it's not uncommon in the 20s.
Regardless of what caused the issue, it's not like she caused it or that she wanted it. It's one thing to be hung over from last night's partying and having to drag your butt into work. I know I wouldn't want a heart surgeon operating on me if I heard him say ‘my brain just isn't in this today; I hope I don't hurt someone’. I'd be saying hey doc, I'm good, I changed my mind about surgery!
And Matt Walsh should be ashamed of himself; she didn't say anything about quitting in the middle of the competition because she was sad. She's right; if her concentration wasn't there then she could have badly injured herself. I don't know what routine she was supposed to be doing, but would people have felt better about her toughing her way through it if she had broken her neck because she made a wrong move due to lack of concentration?
