yes CC is good. My point/complaint/observation was that the entire speech was difficult to hear. Once he was done and the RSBN host came on it was plenty loud and in fact I had to turn it down
We are not getting a temperature break at all. I think one or two days in the 80’s then back up into the 90’s and now expect 101 today and ALL next week 90’s 100’s. It has NEVER been like this lasting so long. NO rain or Lightening.
I watched that video over and over and those in that group LOOK LIKE the thugs that DID break into the capital. I don’t think they were actually Trump supporters.
Thanks for posting. I then put that video on facebook marked for public. Several times I have tried to post an article or video on facebook with my statment at the beginning of what it is about. When I have done this facebook immediately comes up saying technical error, and it wipes out what I have typed. So I approach it another way. I just post the link and then down in the comments I make my statement. I said this is why Pelosi kicked the two congressmen off the Jan 6th committee. I think they watch for key words when you are creating a posting, but not in the comments unless someone rats you out.
I am so glad you clarified that Spirit as it looked to me like it read “the Lord will rejoice over you with girlgirly. NAW!! That can’t be right but that is what I kept seeing. LoL
I have never had a fire-extinguisher until this house and the only reason then is our homeowners insurance said it would reduce our rate. I am not sure if I would be able to operate it. I think it has instructions on it but by the time I figured out what it said I am sure the fire would be out of control. Keep a big box of baking soda near your stove in case of a cooking fire.
I am not much into prepping. I used to buy up a lot of canned chicken, beef, tuna at Costco also beans and chicken broth. Gradually used it up, but I had some of the stuff for so long they were past there date.
I am of an age now where I know I don’t have to many more years left so I am not worrying about it. I just wished my grandkids could understand what is happening, but I don’t think they do.
Spirit what about those little canister things I see advertised for heating, cooking etc. Just light them and good to go? Don’t ever get roof solar as they do wreck you roofs.

If you can take it out it would be a good idea as I know Willow tree roots are very invasive and can get into the sewer system. I know you said yours isn’t a Weeping Willow but I think the other variety can be invasive but not as bad depending on how far from house. But even if cut down you have to kill off the trunk or the roots keep growing.

Pelosi pretending that Kinzinger joining the Jan 6 Commission means it’s “bipartisan” is like the fox being proud a dog is guarding the hen house with it instead of another fox.
This is a Jan 6 star chamber.
I remember in grade school (maybe 6th or 7th grade?) the fire department came to our class to teach fire safety. Drop and roll, what type of extinguisher to use on what type of fire, etc. One thing I remember was them lighting a fire in a metal garbage can to teach us to aim at the base of the fire to put it out. They said ‘don’t aim in the can’. So who manages to spray into the can and put the fire out? THIS girl! Didn’t mean to; I have bad aim. They’re easy to operate-pull the pin, aim and depress the lever and let it fly. And move it in a sweeping motion. Instructions are very large on the canister.
I wasn’t thinking so much as for a cooking fire, but rather if things got really bad and someone threw a Moltov cocktail through my window. That type thing.
I understand what you mean about buying the standard prepping suggestions and then have them sit there unused. I still have a 25 pound bag of flour I bought early last year sitting unopened! They say to store what you eat so that’s what 90% of mine is. Comes in handy when the weather’s bad outside so I don’t have to go to the store. Or when there’s too much month at the end of my money. I don’t have what I would call a 3-month/6-month/1-year supply. I just have extra on hand. Might end up eating some weird combos towards the end if I had to use it up, but I’d still be eating.
Are you thinking about things like sterno, safe heat, etc?
Same here a spunky, it was hard to hear even though I had the volume up pretty high.

The Biden regime is taking COVID so seriously, they’re letting hundreds of thousands of untested illegals pour across the southern border - and transporting them all across the USA.
This means I don’t give a damn what the hypocritical commies say about anything.
True. My brother and my nephew grab the car and run it around for a few days every so often. My hubby makes sure the engine is in good condition. It is good for safety for a car to be in a driveway and for it to be moved around occasionally. That way people observing the house think there are people who move around, not feeble, who live there.
Dad went with hubby and me for dinner today. It was a new-to-him restaurant. He was miffed that hubs grabbed the check.
