I like some country songs, if I ever hear them. When I was younger I loved dancing to country music, but didn’t listen to it outside of the bars.

I grew up on Rock & Roll, had older cousins, but by the time the late 60’s came around I started listening to some Country and as Rock became more Hard Rock, well that was it for me.
I do like what my kids listened to in the 80’s which was Alternative Rock IIRC.
Now I listen to old Country and R&R from the 50’s and 60’s because I don’t recognize Country anymore sung by, as Spirit said, “the current crop of politically corrects (self-censored myself there).”

It is clear that Hunter Biden was selling access and influence. It appears that Joe Biden was aware of that effort. That is very serious. If these emails are false, this is a major story. If they are true, this is a major scandal. That’s about where I am. Being from Nashville, I grew up listening to the Grand Ol’ Opry, but also listened to Southern Rock. Hard Rock, I don’t care for. Not to say that a Hard Rock band might put out a song or two that I like. I even like bluegrass! LOL
I took a look at my ‘Road Trip’ playlist on Spotify. That’s where I put my ‘bouncing in your seat, letting the wind fly in your hair’ kind of songs. I’ve got everything from CCR and James Brown, Jerry Reed-HAD to include the song from Smokey and the Bandit!-Miranda Lambert, Allman Brothers Band, Doobie Brothers, Steppenwolf, Van Morrison, Povertyneck Hillbillies, Katrin & The Waves, U2, Bon Jovi, Sammy Hagar, Rascal Flatts and a bunch more.
So you can see, I’m all over the place. Just depends on the song.

The fire hazard here is extreme after ALL these days of over 100 degrees. The younger people just don't care about that.

I can’t believe anybody would call themselves a scholar to come up with such a ridiculous conclusion. Or that anybody else would even called them as one. I remember when I was on the snow and water board in the mountains, one of the retired teachers was talking about how her PhD paper was about sending emails. This is at that same low level. And these people don’t even know enough to be embarrassed about it.
