I’ve always suspected Aluminum. It was very rare until a way to extract was discovered in 1886. Alzheimer’s was rare until after that time as well. I figure that soda pop is a weak acid and little bits of the aluminium can get dissolved and into our circulation.

Folks, the study showed that the brains of Alzheimer’s patients had a different utilization of copper and iron—not that they had more of either.

For some reason, their brains do not properly allocate those minerals like the rest of us do.

Not a bad theory. Problem is people will tell you that you are crazy or a right-wing nut when they have no clue. Similar to the flu...how did I get the real flu in the 90s, bad...while after getting the flu shot? I’ve read how excess iron in the blood is very bad and that donating blood is thought to be helpful for keeping iron levels in the good range, especially for men.

This could be another reason why too much iron in the blood is bad and why many probably don’t need a daily vitamin pill with added iron.
