I used to hang out at Coldwater Country. Seems like it was out past the Loop on University.

The Rodeo Club being a non profit, had to spend profits of our annual rodeo each year.
We had some epic parties for a club of about 28 people.

Grew up hearing his version but like Blue Swede’s a lot too. Different enough that I don’t have a preference, like them both.

We lost three legends in the past two days. 80s Basketball player Mark Eaton, Actor Gavin McLeod, and Singer B.J. Thomas. RIP to all three. I enjoyed Thomas’ music and was able to see him perform.

DANG! Somewhere in my record collection, I have some 45 singles recorded by “BJ Thomas and the Triumps.” He was a Texas music icon.
RIP buddy.

Southern Rock was pretty goodToday, I heard some Southern Rock being blasted across our little lake here. It's the first time I've heard the word "microwave" used as a song lyric!
