Hailey Davidson is hoping her next stop is the LPGA after her mini-tour win at Providence Golf Club last week, although she is awaiting word on her eligiblity.
According to Beth Ann Nichols of Golfweek, the transgender woman underwent gender confirmation surgery in January and had been undergoing hormone treatments since 2015.
"We are currently reviewing Hailey’s application to participate in LPGA Tour events under the LPGA’s gender policy," LPGA Chief Tour Operations Officer Heather Daly-Donofrio said. "The policy is designed to be a private and confidential process between the LPGA and the athlete."
Davidson is allowed to compete in USGA championships after the organization told her she met its Gender Policy eligibility criteria. She is hoping for a similar result through a reciprocity agreement.
The USGA previously had a policy that required a player to be two years removed from surgery in order to compete, but the rule was changed this year. The LPGA had a "female at birth" requirement until removing the rule in 2010.
Davidson hadn't played a professional tournament in six years before returning to the sport in April. She finished 10th at a U.S. Women’s Open qualifier before competing in the NWGA event this weekend, winning the event after shooting two strokes under par across the two rounds.
The 28-year-old is now hoping to be the first transgender woman to compete in the LPGA.
"As cool as it would be the first person to do something, to be honest, right now could not be a better time for me to hopefully keep pushing forward and maybe break out, because there is so much anti-transgender legislation," Davidson said.
"I feel like actually having representation on any professional sports level will give kids so much more hope."

The part I do not understand is this...I have seen women get in a man's face, even hit them (false sense that the cannot be hit back), women can be absolute bitches over a dress, but roll over for trannies. Why?
I think this is the reason why the transgender folks are trying to get children to start taking puberty blockers. These ugly dudes imagine that they would have been prettier if they had started transitioning sooner. This leads them to believe that they are doing kids a favor by getting them to sign-up to the transitioning process as soon as possible.
If that doesn't tell us that these people are mentally disturbed, I don't know what else to say.

When I went to high school in the 1970s, the girls always took the "effeminate" boys under their wings. They just have a soft spot for them and evidently they don't mind them coming into their sports and taking their medals. Frankly, I don't think too many women in sports even care about winning - at least not as much as in men's sports. When I played softball or volleyball with them in my younger days, they were always the ones that didn't want to keep score. They were just happy out there playing and didn't care who won or not.
I read Jenner went through hours of surgery, something like 18 hours total if I remember correctly. Men have facial structure that differentiate men from women. The surgeons removed the bone structure to create a more female appearance. On a show about reconstructing a face, the artist doing the clay modeling of the tissue was explaining how to tell an adult male from female skull. Jenner’s surgeons must of needed an angle cutter, band saw and grinder to make his skull more female looking, What level of mental illness makes someone do that to themselves?

A conservative woman knows that she will be “cancelled” if she says something (free speech is dead). So let’s say a conservative woman coach or player objects to this tranny stuff. The coach would lose her job. And the player would be banned from the sport.
And a liberal woman will never say anything against PC culture, no matter how harmful that culture is. Ideology trumps common sense every time.

Personally, I think this is great. I hope she starts winning big and raking in the dough. A lot of the LPGA women are big supporters of male transgenders playing in women’s and girls sports. Let’s see how they like it when their trophies and money for are taken away from them. I’ll be laughing my @$$ off.

The Kardashian women stole it from their daddy, the same way some women do. Marry right, and sue for divorce. Bruce came in and was the “perfect man” to head the family.
The ones that really disturb me are the parents who think their 4 year old boy or girl wants to be the other sex and are willing to go to court so they can do that. If the kids grow up hating those parents for that and whack them and I was on the jury I would vote...not guilty.
How many women can hit it 300 yds? Outdriving your competitor 50-75 yds is a definite advantage.

Until now these trans stories have been mainly fringe sports or events. Once these trans start taking titles and big money from the gals we’ll see how committed the organizations and athletes are to woke. Get a young male tennis star that transforms and then starts reeling off effortlessly grand slam titles is what I want to see happen to them and see how they react.
I hear you, the same feminists who have been pushing women’s sports have been promoting homosexuality. Now they can pay the piper.
