It was brought to our attention today, that a report was published at the Hayride in March that is similar to our report from yesterday noted below:
In March, the Hayride reported on the results of another mask study posted on June 10, 2020, at the CDC website. This study confirms our reporting from yesterday that masks aren’t just a nuisance but can cause serious health problems. The article recently uncovered was published by the CDC and it states in black and white the side-effects of wearing a mask, specifically related to the masks trapping carbon dioxide or CO2. The article states the masks cause breathing resistance that could result in a reduction in the frequency and depth of breathing, known as hypoventilation, in as little as an hour of wearing a mask. The article further went on to elaborate on the side-effects of increased CO2 concentrations in the mask wearer that include:
The Hayride reports:
The Hayride has covered this in the past specifically regarding the cognitive loss caused by COVID masks trapping CO2 where according to a Harvard Study breathing in as little as 945 PPM of CO2 lowers cognitive ability 15% and at 1400 PPM of CO2 cognitive ability reduces by 50%… What is also disturbing is not only the brain damage that is caused by the masks, but the adverse cardiovascular effects on the heart and lungs along with the reduction of blood sugar and dehydration.
We also discovered that the Stanford report from our article yesterday was censored by Twitter last week when former Trump campaign staffer, Steve Cortes, tweeted out the results of this study.
Searching my bookmarks for COVID, I count sixteen, but most aren’t direct links to studies. For instance, I bookmark threads here too, the ones in which I participate or which especially interest me (e.g., “MLB legend Hank Aaron dies two weeks after getting COVID-19 vaccine”, which is more about Aaron as a baseball player — I discussed him and my childhood favorite Duke Snider).
ALL of his family got it...wife, dtrs, grandchildren, etc...ALL of them....
he probably was wearing a mask all the time because he travels and works with lots of people....
why did he get so sick and everybody else just mildly?...
I think its the mask...wife and dtrs are home and the kids not in school so none of them would be wearing masks very much....
covid was severe for him because his breathing was restricted much of the time....
am I right or am I right...
What kind of eye protection did you use to prevent an infection via your eyes?
In operating rooms they are more concerned with the rise in O2 concentration and are many studies warning not to let it go over 30% in air ( 18% normal) due to risk of explosions. That may compensate the extra CO2 inhaled.
Doctors and nurses work in an oxygen-enriched environment that compensates for the effects of wearing a surgical mask.
Do you know why they wear them in the OR? Here’s a hint! It’s not to protect them from the patient. They wear head coverings. gloves and gowns also. Again it’s not to protect them from the patient. They also come out of those masks as soon as they leave the room. If they go into another room they put on all new gear including masks. That equipment is for the patients safety not the OR crew. The last thing you want is for anything to get into an open wound.
The CDC study is about healthcare personnel wearing N95 respirators or cartridge respirators for prolonged periods. They create a tight seal and do increase work of breathing somewhat. I know because I WEAR ONE 12 HOURS A DAY AT WORK.
And yet no nasty side effects. None.
How many of you wear an N95 all day?
By the way the “Stanford Study” was no such thing. It was an opinion piece by one individual.
But keep flinging crap out there.
>> “To anyone here who believes a cloth mask is effective in preventing you from getting a covid infection: What kind of eye protection did you use to prevent an infection via your eyes?” <<
But are the eyes a common means of infection? I’ve read that breathing in through the nose and mouth (which have much larger openings) is the most common way.
Sorry that your brother has had a severe reaction to COVID-19. Hope he continues to make progress.
Many things affect how people react. Age is an important one for this virus, so even if his wife is about the same age, his children and grandchildren wouldn’t be. Also some individual differences don’t fall into categories like age and known comorbidities.
Excellent link.
Hard for the “science denier” accusers to argue with since it’s in a scientific journal.
Thanks for the insights. For the first time FB may have helped me be more diligent in reviewing before I post items, even those that come from what I believe are credible sites.
Surgical masks are effective in preventing contamination of an open wound during surgery. Yes, bacteria are primarily the reason, but at least nothing gets coughed or sneezed into the open wound.
Here the hospital is next to walmart. Hospital people go to walmart. The docs n nurses come right into the Wal-Mart with their scrubs still on. It ain’t true. They dnt take them off. I saw for myself many times. Also It is done in another medical center college cafeteria too 60 miles awY. Yupyupyup. Great theory but it aint practised here. Unenforceable?
Sadly, here in TX, masks are still “required” at doctors offices. Such a foolish joke!
Every large practice manager needs to receive a copy of this study.
Enough with the absurd virtue signaling.
I don’t know what hospital you’re taking about but I can assure you that the folks you’re talking about didn’t just walk out of a surgery room. Your probably seeing non OR staff from various departments. OR staff fall under a different set of rules due to contamination and infection guidelines. Many of the folks working in hospitals wear the same scrubs all day and rarely wear a mask (New Covid guidelines have changed some of that) but they’re not in the operating rooms. The surgery staff come in their civilian clothes or maybe a set of personal scrubs, they are not allowed to wear those in the room. They change into a set provided by the hospital and change out between surgeries and those scrubs never leave the hospital. Those scrubs just don’t get thrown into a washer, those go throw a wash and decontamination process. Infection control is a high priority in the OR. You don’t want somebody coming into a room with dog hair on their scrubs nor do you want those scrubs leaving the hospital with the various fluids they can accumulate while in surgery.
There is a Multi Billion Dollar Payday waiting for the First Big Law Firm to Claim
You’re welcome. I tend to read critically in general, but there are many contradictory claims, and sometimes it’s hard to figure out which make the most sense. I’d prefer too many claims, though — with the opportunity of comparing them, and making a judgment — than too few, with other claims that are possibly true being suppressed.
Who was that masked man?Bring Out Your Dead
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
The false positive rate was 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
