Apple can KMA.
I’d be happy if they could bring back the Jobs-era reliability. I’ve got all sorts of chronic bad bugs in my iPhone 12 and iPad Air gen 3.
A tablet with the M1 chip is bonkers. I own the 3rdGEN iPad Pro with the A12x bionic chip and I have never once ever thought I needed something more powerful. It’s as fast today as it was the day I unwrapped it.
If you want on or off the Apple/Mac/iOS Ping List, Freepmail me.
All the tech companies are on board with the Left Progressive clap trap... some more than others. Pick your poison if you want to use computers, cellular phones, etc. Apple at least doesn't invade your privacy and sell your private data to third parties for all their other douch baggery.
Uighur slave/forced labor and Foxconn.
Yep, I most certainly will pick my poison, it just won’t be with an overpriced POS company that can KMA and will never see a dime of my money and never has.
Even though I don't do video or movies, I've been looking for an excuse to update my iPad Pro... now I have one. Those 1000 NITS will make it much easier to see my screen outside.
[snip] The Mac also faces fresh competition from Alphabet’s Chromebooks, which outpaced MacBooks in full-year shipments for the first time in 2020, according to IDC. The expansion of its services ecosystem could also encounter fierce resistance from streaming media giants like Spotify and Netflix. [/snip]

Hilarious... Chromebooks take market share from Wintel, not from Apple. OTOH, AppleTV doesn’t have competitive content vs other large subscription services, but even small growth in that area is better than no growth, perhaps a lot better, because it can potentially go on for quite a while.
AAPL down $2 after show and tell
FoxConn is not hiring very many Uighurs... The vast majority of Uighurs are not technically trained to the level that would be of use to FoxConn. You hear about Foxconn and Uighurs because tying them to APPLE makes for headlines! Did you know that Foxconn HIRES all of its workers?
Did you know that Apple is only one of about 750+ Consumer Electronic makers who contract with Foxconn to make its products? Apparently not.
Included in those 750 or more CE companies are:
I bet your phone and computer makers of choice are on there.
The POS company which will KickYA is expected to do $3,200,000,000,000 in business this year, so your pocket change will not be missed by anyone.
Whatever, Apple user.
I see. It's OK if your computer maker and phone maker does business with "slave" users in China, but not when it's Apple. I get it. You just don't like Apple because it's Apple... and they are just as Leftist and Progressive as your phone maker and computer maker, except Apple doesn't sell your privacy to all of the others. Right?
The US Festival was a better idea. But Apple lost both its Steves.
Nothing about the new MacChicken sandwich?
I have one M1 Mac Minis and this thing rocks!!!
Super fast and you can’t make it heat up.
I had a really good year this year, so I traded up my 2012 i5 Mac mini that I had modified a bit (16 GB Ram, 2 TB SDD) and opted for the 2TB M1 Mac mini.
Both systems have 16TB of external storage, so I have more than enough for Time Machine, and archived movies, music, photos etc.
To say the M1 is fast, is truly an understatement. Unless software makes some HUGE advances, I really can’t see a need to update in the foreseeable future.
IMHO, get all the mass storage as your budget will allow, as this remains fixed; however you can add external SDD’s or cheap SDDs to archive whatever you want.
But, my personal suggestion is opt for the 16GB internal memory over the 8GB; as that will be the only bottleneck you cannot compensate for later on.
I guess Apple is making public ATTEMPTS to block FaceBook, Google and Twitter from illegally tracking you; and this MUST lead to attacks against Apple
Because ..... conservatives ...?
Logic and reason don’t seem to work with people who have decided to hate Apple. In my experience (30 years R&D in Computer Industry), people who hate Apple the most, don’t even know how to turn one on.
