Oh Gran. Well, tolerance is the name of the game these days. I still love you, even if you like raisins.
The card game the family would play for hours was Rummy.
Each hand changed as to what you had to have to go down.
We even had score sheets made up.
I wish I still had some.
Oh, the good memories!
Thank you, Judy.
You are too kind.
I do like them best covered in chocolate though.
In my world, that is too much of a reality. I keep mine in a password vault because I cannot remember them.
My 9 year old grandson loves it and is so good that I wouldn’t dream of giving the kid a break lol. He says he can’t wait for us to move there and set up a nice table on the porch for us to play cards all day while everyone else does their chores lol. I think his mom and dad may have a different plan.
I know what you’re talkin about but I never knew that you’re only allowed to play on another’s hand one time. We always played the way you are talking about. But I don’t know which one is right or wrong.
LOL, cute!
What is a password vault? I just have a locked word file. It also has account numbers and stuff like that.
Can’t playing Rummy just be counted as part of your Grandson’s math lesson?
I’ve never played Rummy, so I know nothing and am absolutely of no help.
Shocking, isn’t it? LOL

This is most like what we used to play......
Contract Rummy or Combination rummy, Deuces Wild Rummy, Joker Rummy and Phase 10
It is a game of 3-8 players and has developed from Gin Rummy. The game uses multiple decks of 54 cards and jokers are treated as wild cards. Each player is dealt 10 cards for the first 4 rounds and 12 cards for the last 3 rounds. It is played for 7 deals with rules changing in each deal, although the aim of forming sequences and sets remains the same. Here face cards hold 10 points each, Aces have 15 points each and Jokers carry 25 points each. Complexity goes on increasing with each deal.
Deal Number Cards Dealt Contract
1 10 2 Sets
2 10 1 Set & 1 Run
3 10 2 Runs
4 10 3 Sets
5 12 2 Sets & 1 Run
6 12 1 Set & 2 Runs
7 12 3 Runs
It is an app on my machines which stores all my passwords and associated account data. I have to input the data; it isn’t automatic. But the app is secured by one, Master password. The password vault I use is “DataVault Password Manager.” I’ve used it for about a decade now. There are 71 entries into it. I have about three of my husband’s passwords and 1 category for my dad’s passwords. The trouble with my dad’s pws is that he changes them whenever he feels like it. Gosh! Who gave him permission to do that?!
Phase 10's mostly the version played around The Homestead, mainly in the Winter.
The now 5yo twin G-G daughters are very rapidly picking the game up.
Horrible getting skunked by a kid that age.......worse yet when you realize they're teaming up on everybody else.

I’m not sure if I got the right link or not
I wondered if the cards that Biden was holding during his press conference had talking points on them.
Yay! So happy to hear you and hubby are all better, now.
I have some wormwood powder. Will have to remember where I put that away.
