Thanks, will look up.
That tradition began in 1972. I remember because I was in the band. At that time, the Iron Bowl was held in Birmingham because they didn't want to come to Auburn. Our busses would load and unload on College Street, one of the two which formed Toomer's Corner as the Band Room was in one of the nearby buildings. The game ended with a beautiful fourth quarter when we got a gift from heaven, blocked two of their punts and each was run in for TDs. The score ended, 17 - 16! It was always fun to come back to town after victories and we are still celebrating that particular victory (I broke up with my boyfriend that day because of that victory. He said we didn't deserve to win!) Anyway, as we were unloading the busses, the cheerleaders showed up. Spirits were still high although the game had been over for around five or six hours. We all started cheering, we put our horns together and played, and then, someone started throwing toilet paper. Oila! A tradition was born.
This picture was taken the morning after the National Championship in 2011. I was at that party.

When is the last time you heard of a general quitting over principle?
I once stood up for principle over a safety issue at a nuclear power plant, and in essence against the trade union that I belonged to and their key man at the plant that was our supervisor, paying the price by more or less being treated like a traitor which resulted in me leaving the union after 19 years and freezing my pension’s growth. I would do it again because it was the right thing to do.
me three!
Thanks so much for posting the links to sources! Makes it so much easier if something is worth keeping up with.
Preach it, my sister! They could have said- Bruce (motions air quotes) Caitlyn Jenner if they had to invoke the mentally ill person’s make-believe persona.
How’s Roy?

Exactly, freepersup.
“Bruce Jenner, who is under the delusion that he’s a woman and goes by “Caitlyn”.....
Don’t use the opportunity to blur the lines! Use the opportunity to shout to the world that real Conservatives do NOT buy into this left-wing destruction of creation.
That’s some serious tp job! Last year during the national nutty tp shortage did you ever think of that picture?
I suspect some in attendance are hoping for an unnamed invited guest too! LOL
Try to open the Twitter link. I think Twitter is pulling some kind of mischief on the account. It says “something went wrong / retry.”
OK just tried it again before sending this to you and it worked.
WOW!
The word epic gets overused a lot.
This is not the case in this image.
THAT is EPIC!
Fond memories for you. Awesome.
I have that happen at times, even when opening non-Trump/non-political tweets.

Event starting.
Opening invocation.
I did. There was some ad campaign in this state about “come to Auburn. We always have tp.” Or something like that. I wasn’t in the country when the shortage happened. By the time I got here ~ and we’re still MAD about having to come home ~ the shortage was over. I offered to fill a suitcase with rolls if anyone in the fam needed any. They did not.
I can’t keep the sides straight. Who are the good guys?
