Please Don't Use Horse Deworming Drugs To Treat COVID-19, FDA Warns

Plenty of unapproved, dubious, or downright dangerous COVID-19 treatments have come and gone over the past year, but the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has come out with a refresher warning after a number of people have fallen sick using horse deworming drugs to treat COVID-19.

The drug is ivermectin, a cheap and widely available medication used to treat parasite infestations. In humans, it’s used to treat head lice and scabies, as well as roundworms, and it’s also widely used on animals to treat parasitic worms. However, the products used to treat humans are different from the ones used on animals, which are often highly concentrated because they are used for large animals like horses and cows.

Recent months have seen a growing interest in using ivermectin to treat humans with COVID-19. All of this remains totally unverified for now, but it has already led to a number of people mistakenly taking horse dewormer in a bid to self-medicate against COVID-19.

“The FDA has received multiple reports of patients who have required medical support and been hospitalized after self-medicating with ivermectin intended for horses,” the FDA said in a statement.

Much of the hype around ivermectin and COVID-19 comes from a few studies that have suggested ivermectin inhibits the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in a petri dish. A very small clinical trial in January 2021 found that ivermectin did not prevent people from falling sick with COVID-19, but people who took the drug did tend to experience a mild cough and had a lower viral load. Overall, it’s still inconclusive.

The Infectious Disease Society of America advises against using ivermectin for COVID-19 outside of clinical trials. Merck, the pharmaceutical company behind Stromectol, a brand name of ivermectin, also says the medication should be used only for FDA-approved purposes, adding there’s “no meaningful evidence for clinical activity or clinical efficacy in patients with COVID-19 disease.”

The FDA noted that “some initial research” is looking into whether the drug could be used as COVID-19 treatment, but there is currently a lack of evidence to conclude it’s effective."

“People should not take any form of ivermectin unless it has been prescribed by a licensed health care provider and is obtained through a legitimate source,” the agency added. “Taking a drug for an unapproved use can be very dangerous. This is true of ivermectin, too.”

The buzz around ivermectin is reminiscent of hydroxychloroquine, an antimalarial drug that rose to prominence last year as a possible treatment for COVID-19. The drug was given a rocket boost when then-President Donald Trump revealed at a press conference he was taking hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin to ward off COVID-19, despite little evidence either worked.

Hydroxychloroquine became immensely politicized, but much of this hype ultimately fell flat and it never became the “game-changer” its supporters proclaimed it to be. Many clinical trials of hydroxychloroquine failed to show any real benefit in fighting COVID-19, while an influential study that sung its praise was eventually retracted. Sadly, reports of chloroquine poisoning and at least one death were reported after people began taking the drug, or in the death case, a version of it intended for fish, without doctor approval.

Oh man, need coffee! Mark the tube to six doses and you have enough MEDICINE in each dose to treat a 200 pound person with each of the six applications/doses.

Yeah, after they published the long term five and ten year studies on the vaccines I’m convinced.

This drug has shown some promise in treating cancer.

(Never knew that people are trying it for covid, though.)

Closing all those clinics administering for 1 person seems a little excessive. Why do you think they are so concerned?

Another scare tactic to push the vaccine. Although if you buy the paste at the fedd and grain I think the trick is to make sure you measure it out precisely as it is based on weight.

I’ve been using it weekly for months now. Bought 55ml for around $25 online from a supplier in La.

“Please Don’t Use Horse Deworming Drugs To Treat COVID-19, FDA Warns”

Easy solution - make the human form available WITHOUT a prescription. After all, the drug is safer than aspirin when taken properly.

Until then, people will do what’s needed to prevent and treat the virus.

Absolutely...except the minuscule problem with blood clots. But don’t worry everyone.

And the heart attacks. But those are miniscule. Don't worry.

Hydroxychloroquine became immensely politicized, but much of this hype ultimately fell flat and it never became the “game-changer” its supporters proclaimed it to be.

The massed artillery of the Political Media was arrayed against it, and political doctors worked hard to sabotage studies involving HCQ.

It works as a therapeutic administered at the correct time with the correct accompaniments.

“Each tube holds 1200 mg (if memory serves).”

Your memory does NOT serve. Not close. A tube is roughly 115 mg, so 1/10th a tube is about the frequently used recommended treatment dose (12 mg) for COVID.

If the FDA actually did what was best for people and approved drugs for use, then people wouldn’t be trying *horse deworming medicine.*.

Just take the vaccine. It’s safe and effective.

No, it’s not and you can’t prove that or guarantee that, especially for the long term.

How much is Pfizer paying you to shill for them?

On March 23, 2020, President Trump and his Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows were sent ccs at the White House of Dr. Vladimir Zelenko’s letter to physicians describing an effective EARLY Covid treatment costing $20. The letter, which can no longer be found by entering date and doctor’s name at Google is at the link below.

https://faculty.utrgv.edu/eleftherios.gkioulekas/zelenko/Vladimir-Zelenko-treatment.pdf

It included the following important sentences. “We know that hydroxychloroquine helps Zinc enter the [infected] cell. We know that Zinc slows viral replication within the cell. Regarding the use of azithromycin, I postulate it prevents secondary bacterial infections. These three drugs are well known and usually well tolerated,...” and also “In sum, my urgent recommendation is to initiate treatment in the OUTPATIENT setting as soon as possible in accordance with the above. [even before Covid is confirmed by testing] Based on my direct experience, it prevents acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), prevents the need for hospitalization and saves lives.” Items in brackets [ ] were added by me from later clarifications he made in subsequent messages.

The drug was given a rocket boost when then-President Donald Trump revealed at a press conference [I believe in April] he was taking hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin to ward off COVID-19, despite little evidence either worked. He and Dr. Fauci had each mentioned the ALL IMPORTANT ZINC, and then only would mention HCQ. In May, NIH launched a study supported by Dr. Fauci using ONLY HCQ and Azithromycin for seriously ill and hospitalized Covid patients. Thus completely ignoring Dr. Zelenko’s concern for using zinc and early treatment. When the NIH study failed to show results this lift Dr. Fauci to continue supporting Remdesivir at roughly $3,000 (insurance payment) for a treatment course.

Some important questions. Did President Trump ever actually see this letter? Why did he and Dr. Fauci stop mentioning zinc? What perks did Dr. Fauci get for promotion Remdesivir and supporting testing designed to fail?

I think the Zelenco protocol of HCQ and zinc is still a useful treatment although I suspect that Ivermectin may be better, and if only over-the-counter is available, then Quercetin in place of or in addition to the other two has been supported by Dr. Zelenko. Last I read there were some 50 million doses of HCQ in our national emergency medical storage. Why aren’t they being distributed along with adequate zinc to states with rising Covid cases loads?

I personally prefer QUERCETIN over HCQ or hydroxychloroquine as an IONOPHORE why? Because it has many additional benefits aside from being an ionophore for zinc. All these benefits as listed in my last post HCQ does not have.

It is free, except for what the government is sending the vaccine companies of our tax dollars. Have J&J and Astra-Zenica been sabotauged because they are cheaper than Pfizer and Moderna? I know Pfizer tried hard to buy Astra-Zenica a few years ago, was pixxed when they wouldn’t accept the money offered. A-Z is only a few dollars a shot. Any info on what the other 3 vaccines cost the govt. a dose?

ALTERNATIVE WAYS TO KEEP YOUR RESISTANCE UP & FIGHT COVID -19.

ANYONE IN REASONABLE GOOD HEALTH ADHERING TO THIS SUGGESTED REGIME SHOULD SHAKE THIS VIRUS QUICKLY AND ALONG WITH IT WILL AQUIRE NATURAL IMMUNITY. ASIDE FROM THIS, YOU MAY WANT TO GIVE IT SOME THOUGHT WHAT MAY HAPPEN SHOULD YOU ENCOUNTER A MUTATED FORM OF THE ORIGINAL VIRUS FOR WHICH YOU GOT A SHOT, AND VIRUSES WILL MUTATE, THAT’S A GIVEN.

There are other ways and means to enhance your resistance against viruses including that by now infamous covid-19 virus aside from taking any of these “Quick” developed vaccines utilizing a messenger RNA. So far science has not evolved far enough yet to be certain how the human body will react many month or years down the road once we start tinkering around with our RNA and how our bodies will react should we encounter mutated strains of similar viruses.

Below is a list of vitamins as well as nutrients suggested by a physician to enhance your resistance, they are harmless and even beneficial to your body unless someone goes crazy and over doing it. Even so they will NOT protect you from getting any specific viruses; neither will any of those new “QUICK” developed vaccines. But not only will they make you more resistant but also help you to overcome the effects of such a virus more quickly, should you have bad luck getting it. And once you are over it, your natural immune system will take over and protect you considerably better than any vaccination, this according to a statement by Merck. The CATCH is to have these vitamins/nutrients in your system BEFORE you think you have caught this virus, as time is of essence so your system starts fighting the virus BEFORE it gets a chance to do any damage.

A suggestion to the wise, take some time and read up on each of these suggested components which is freely available on the internet.

Vitamin D — Vitamin D supplements are readily available and one of the least expensive supplements on the market. All things considered, vitamin D optimization is likely the easiest and most beneficial strategy that anyone can do to minimize their risk of COVID-19 and other infections, and can strengthen your immune system in a matter of a few weeks.

N-acetylcysteine (NAC) — NAC is a precursor to reduced glutathione, which appears to play a crucial role in COVID-19. According to one literature analysis,7 glutathione deficiency may actually be associated with COVID-19 severity, leading the author to conclude that NAC may be useful both for its prevention and treatment.

Zinc — Zinc plays a very important role in your immune system’s ability to ward off viral infections.

Like vitamin D, zinc helps regulate your immune function8 — and a combination of zinc with a zinc ionophore, like hydroxychloroquine or quercetin, was in 2010 shown to inhibit SARS coronavirus in vitro. In cell culture, it also blocked viral replication within minutes.9 Importantly, zinc deficiency has been shown to impair immune function.

Melatonin — Boosts immune function in a variety of ways and helps quell inflammation. Melatonin may also prevent SARS-CoV-2 infection by recharging glutathione11 and enhancing vitamin D synthesis, among other things.

Vitamin C — A number of studies have shown vitamin C can be very helpful in the treatment of viral illnesses, sepsis and ARDS,12 all of which are applicable to COVID-19. Its basic properties include anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, antioxidant, antithrombotic and antiviral activities. At high doses, it actually acts as an antiviral drug, actively inactivating viruses. Vitamin C also works synergistically with quercetin.

Quercetin — A powerful immune booster and broad-spectrum antiviral, quercetin was initially found to provide broad-spectrum protection against SARS coronavirus in the aftermath of the 2003 SARS epidemic,14,15,16 and evidence suggests it may be useful for the prevention and treatment of SARS-CoV-2 as well. Not only that but quercetin also acts as an ionophore for zinc similar to hydroxychloroquine, in a matter of speaking it will unlock the cells to let the zinc in where it can attack the virus . It is also a good pain killer and better for the human body than Aspirin, what helps to subdue arthritis pain. I is good for sinus infection, in other words if you happen to have a runny nose.

B vitamins — B vitamins can also influence several COVID-19-specific disease processes, including17 viral replication and invasion, cytokine storm induction, adaptive immunity and hypercoagulability.

SUGGESTED DOSAGE

All components as suggested are individually obtained and freely available and if used with some common sense are not harmful and if anything beneficial to your health. However it is a good idea and highly recommended to read up on each component, as there is plenty of information available on the internet. You may be surprised to find out and learn about the many benefits they provide to your health.
Here is a suggested approximate dosage for each.

Vitamin D 1500 IU

Malatonine 3mg to 6mg suggested about one hour before you go to sleep.

QUERCETIN 500 mg to 1000 mg

NAC 500 mg to 1000 mg

Zinc 50 mg

Vitamin C 1500 mg or MORE !! but always should be to two three times as much as NAC

NAC 500 mg to 1000 mg

Vitamin B complex

So far whoever has been taking this regime of supplements and may have had a brush with this virus, shook it off fairly easily and quickly and the most important thing was that in the process such a person also acquired natural immunity. Not only that but at the same time this regime also helps to ease the effects of the regular flu.

Lysine is also good to add, it helps keep your immune system working well.
