The problem lies with our original question. We still don't know how long the immunity provided by COVID-19 vaccines will last. There's a good reason for the mystery: Not enough time has gone by since the first participants in clinical studies were fully immunized.

New variants could also be critical. Even if current COVID-19 vaccines provide long-lasting protection against existing coronavirus strains, the emergence of new viral variants could require more frequent booster shots.

Probably the best guess for right now is to go with Moderna CEO Stephane Bancel's prediction that COVID-19 will be like the seasonal flu. If he's right, annual vaccinations will be needed.

Long enough. You can always get a booster later, and these shots will probably be offered.

Do they provide any protection at all?
People who have been vaccinated have still gotten it.

It does not.

It is not Labeled as a vaccine.

The answer is easy... follow the money. If they can make billions more from the sale of boosters, then guess what... you’re going to get a booster on a regular basis. This is why HCQ was trashed by the mob. No money in it.

Against the original strain that the vaccines were developed against? For the rest of my life. Against seasonal mutations? Probably a few years. If COVID-19 follows the pattern of influenza, there will be yearly vaccines for the latest season's strain.

The mRNA "vaccines" are aimed at mitigation of severity of the COVID-19 disease. They do not prevent contracting the virus. They do not prevent transmission if you are infected. They are a static snapshot in time of the spike protein antigen. Those who get infected and transmit it will have selected for virus mutations that the vaccine can not stop. In time, the circulating virus will mutate and escape any efficacy of the mRNA vaccine. The bad news is the "vaccinated" will be generating old spike proteins for a very long time. The mRNA is designed to be persistent.

The vaccine clinical trial results reported by Pfizer and Moderna only covered 2 months after second dose and were based on trials of carefully chosen participants. Here are some studies done by independent researchers after vaccinations.

https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.03.03.21251066v1

Results: While the majority of participants in both groups produced specific IgG antibody titers against SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, titers were significantly lower in elderly participants. Although the increment of antibody levels after the second immunization was higher in elderly participants, the absolute mean titer of this group remained lower than the <60 group. After the second vaccination, 31.3 % of the elderly had no detectable neutralizing antibodies in contrast to the younger group, in which only 2.2% had no detectable neutralizing antibodies.

Conclusion: Our data suggests that lower frequencies of neutralizing antibodies after BNT162b2 vaccination in the elderly population may require earlier revaccination to ensure strong immunity and protection against infection.

This is the first report to date to present vaccine effectiveness (VE) estimates after the second BNT162b2 mRNA Covid-19 Vaccine. We estimated a VE of 52% and 46% in LTCF residents and HCW within seven days, which increased to 64% and 90% in the two groups respectively beyond seven days of immunization.

How long do they offer protection?

The timeline is easily identified in terms of Jack and Shit.

.....And Jack left town.

People are astounded that I haven't had any seasonal flu shots since I retired from the military, where they were required.

I've either gotten immunity or gotten real lucky. But among those I know who have gotten the seasonal flu shots, it doesn't seem to have made a difference.

Many of then get the flu anyway.

I'm going to pass on this one too.

It will last as long as they make a profit. Then, they will have to bring out a new vaccine for a new covid.

The short answer is that Covid-19 concentration is not gong away, as booster shots will be the next basic mandate.

Possibly a trick question.

mRNA has never worked in the 15 years since it was introduced. They tried to make an HIV vaccine with it, a vax for Help C, Varicella and other Corona Viruses.

They were able to get 100% of the lab animals to produce antibodies, but in the next stage of the animal trials, all the lab animals (cats) died. It’s believe their bodies overproduced the intended aniti-body.

The two Covid shots available now do not claim to stop you from becoming ill with Covd, nor is it intended to stop you from spreading it to others.

Moderna and PFizer claim their vaccines are 95% effective. They don’t mean it’s effective in their stated purpose - reducing the severity of Covid-19 if you get it.

The ‘95% effective’ claim means that, in their large-scale human trials, which only lasted a few months (so the Covid shots are not FDA approved, that takes rigorous testing and more time) 95% of the trial subjects developed anti-bodies to a different type of Coronavirus (they don’t have a sample of the one that causes Covid to use for vax development).

However, the mRNA technology has failed to succeed beyond producing anti-bodies. All the animal ins in mRNA trials conducted in 2005 and 2012 died, even though all had antibodies.

There is a piece missing in the technology. They haven’t been able to figure out how to translate those anti-bodies into curing disease. The Covid mRNA vaccines are the first time the technology has been tried on people.

The spike protein that the mRNA vaccines produce in the Covid shots is not specific to Corona virus. It can be produced by exposure to other illnesses and types of corona virus. So most of us will have already developed the protein in previous illnesses.

Moderna/Pfizer have not released the rest of their data. They held a lot back at the start of the adminsitration of their shot. They have released chunks of it slowly.

The mRNA Covid shots have not gone through enough testing to answer questions about it’s true efficacy (e.g., how long protection would last). A British physician who is the editor of a medical publication has analyzed the prelminatry data released thus far and his calculations indicate the Pfizer/Moderna shots may be 19.5% effective.

For FDA approval, the shots would have to be at least 30% effective in creating resistance to infection.

The problem is, the preliminary data is based on PCR testing which, according to it’s inventor, does not indicate whether someone is actually sick or not. So claiming it is 19% is not valid either because they didn’t use a test that delineated who was sick and who was not. The PCR test has around a 90% false positive level.

So promotional materials and those specifying success rates and duration of “protection” lack a valid scientific basis upon which to make their assertions.

And how long does the infected/recovered immunity last? I’m going to get the test for antibodies (we had it in November) and I’ll pass on the results.

Just look at the chicken pox vaccine. It doesn’t last long. And you have to get a flu vaccine every year based on a guess, and it may or may not work though they say it works if you don’t die or get very ill. If you die, then it was because you were going to die anyway.
