I see this from both sides. Fauci’s arguing from flawed logic across several areas, but he’s trying to make the point that Rand’s studies don’t specifically address variance or mutation. My concern with this line of thinking is that every single time a COVID strain mutates, which is common, they’ll make the case that we need to continue to mask up to prevent infection.

We go season after season with ~50% - 60% inoculation rates for influenza, and the numbers of deaths are steady. COVID-19 has been proven to be survivable by the vast majority of the population, so why are we continuing with this constant theater of the absurd? It should be increasingly obvious to most observers that the restrictions in place across most of the world are ineffective and are doing much greater harm to the populace than if we were allowed to just contract the strain-du-jour, fight it off, and go about our merry way.

What’s their end goal? To NEVER contract another flu again? That’s absurd in every manner of speaking. People get sick. People recover. People die. It happens. Why this particular strain is inspiring so much fear is beyond my comprehension. This is government control, pure and simple.

There is no specific 'cold' virus. Colds have many different causes, including coronaviri, rhinoviri, RSV, adenoviri, parainflueza, as well as tons of other unidentified viri. None of these are 'the flu', which is a different virus, influenza.

'Covid' is not a virus - it's a shortened version of 'COrona VIrus Disease', namely the disease you get from the virus.

This is another serious propaganda approach where the media without offering proof are claiming those few attacks on Asians was done because of their supporting Covid 19. That should get stomped on. The demons who worked with the CCP don’t want the CCP to be blamed for creating the CCP 19 virus. Let’s not forget the demons already acknowledged that Covid 19 really helped get Biden in. The conservative media should refer to it as “The CCP 19 virus not the “China Virus” and demand make the CCP pay by kicking Biden and the CCP out which would happen if that did with a Biden loss.
