Excuse me if this is a stupid question, but if QAnon is such an existential threat to our republic, as the media and federal law enforcement agencies would have us believe, why haven't they captured or neutralized this threat? After all, we're not talking about cave-hopping, Tora-Bora dwelling Jihadis. The alleged threat isn't emanating from some faraway land. Supposedly, this group is home grown and the US government, we are also led to believe, is keeping close tabs on them. Yet, with the plethora of mind-bogglingly sophisticated tracking and surveillance technology at their disposal, are we supposed to believe the government is helpless against this seemingly almighty foe? Isn't it obvious by now that this whole thing is a crock of BS? There, I said it.
Your thoughts?
bagster: "Nice made up number."
zeestephen: What is the real number? Thanks in advance for providing a link to your source.
Why would an intelligence officer have a Q clearance? He or she is not working for DOE. If he or she has the required NSA clearance and a need to know, that officer can access DOE materials requiring a Q clearance.
“When you’re taking flak, you’re over the target!”
Your Dad is not intelligent?
Thanks for the link.
Agreed. And if someone does some ‘jackassin - makes claims without even a modicum of evidence or documentation, I believe it’s appropriate to call out that post/poster.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And that can be done in a courteous manner. I would prefer to use the phrase “ask for sources/documentation” rather than “call out”, which assumes the caller outer knows All and the other guy knows squat. Which might or might not be the case.
In connection to Q messages, which is the original topic of this thread, all those who claim that Q is bogus etcetc seem to have never actually read all the Q messages but only what others, including the Fake New, say about Q, often using the term “Qanon” which Q has never used, and people who dicuss Q messages never use. I have yet to see someone who dislikes/hates/thinks Q is CIA/larp etc ever discuss the actual messages. Maybe one phrase without any context, and alwys with a nasty attitude.
People who come on the Q threads with actual questions and a non-aholery attitude are get courtesty in return.
Your WikiFu is strong, but didn’t directly answer my question.
No they don't, not true, fake, false and complete fantasy.
Y'all Qtard cultists are the rudest people anywhere and you know it.
Good one. Actually, my Dad is a brilliant scientist. The point is, Q clearance is a DOE thing, not an NSA thing. Intelligence officers don’t work for DOE.
“Q” doesn’t refer to Q clearance at the DOE, but to the Q Directorate of the NSA, the one responsible for counter-intelligence and cyber security.
Lots of Q followers seem to think it refers to a Q clearance, but I will take your word for it.
There is no Q Directorate at NSA. There is an Associate Directorate for Security and Counterintelligence nicknamed the “Q Group” as reported in the media:
https://www.thedailybeast.com/inside-the-q-group-the-directorate-hunting-down-edward-snowden
From the article: “The security and counterintelligence directorate serves as the NSA’s internal police force, in effect watching the agency’s watchers for behavior that could pose an intelligence risk.”
So, if Q is real, we are supposed to believe these clowns can’t even identify or track down one of their own and this Q entity continued to have access to all this super-spy-squirrel super top secret information? Ummm.... ‘kay....
You assume NSA wants to find them.
There is an Intelligence & Counter-Intelligence office at DOE.
The have analysts there that work foreign nuclear intelligence issues & do CI to protect our nuclear technology. I worked with some of these folks in the past.
They are “intelligence officers”.
Agree with you completely about your statement regarding a Q directorate at NSA. NSA moved away from its use of alphanumerics to designate directorates, offices, divisions etc. I think in the late Clinton or Bush II years.
Pretty sure I did .
At least back during the Cold War, they took the Q clearance thing very seriously. In 7th grade, my geography teacher, “Coach W”, thought it would be a cool project for us kids to send off to other countries’ tourism bureaus for their tourism packets and write reports about tourism and the tourism industry in that country.
He put the names of the names of the countries on slips of paper and passed his coach’s hat around for us to draw slips. I drew Romania.
I checked the mailbox every day, hoping, but no packet from Romania. Everybody else got theirs, and deadline was looming. I thought “ stupid commies”. But no, it was stupid CIA and FBI.
I came home from school one day to find my mother in a tizzy. The FBI had come knocking. Then they went to my school and poor Coach W was hauled into the principal’s office for questioning, and they literally had the poor man up against the wall! The principal was horrified.
Poor dear Coach W (we kids adored him) cancelled the project, and never repeated it. I was embarrassed as only a 7th grade girl can be.
They took a lot of things regarding national security & security clearances more seriously in those days.
Aha! Thanks for the info.
The whacky stuff in the “Q drops” seems way out of DOE purview, though. Rounding up Hillary! and Tom Hanks and sending them to Gitmo, along with thousands of other alleged satanic adrenochrome-sucking cannibals, plus mostly political and military stuff (also usually wild and whacky).
And speaking of adrenochrome, how unscientific can Q claims get?
As I posted on another thread, these folks are like a cancer to this site. They have spread from their little fenced-in thread and their crap is all over Free Republic now.
Some here have expressed this as “cancel culture”, but this a site was formed for the collaboration and sharing of conservative views — NOT insane conspiracy theories that only serve to tar an entire movement with lunacy. There’s plenty of sites across the internet where these folks are welcomed with open arms. They should go there with this nonsense so we can go back to having serious discussions of how to save this republic.
Jim does need to take notice and take action before Free Republic becomes irretrievable...
You sound very much like some of the anti-Trumpers on this site before the election in 2016—when FR was Cruz country, and Cruz supporters (in the majority at that time) were saying very similar things about people who believed in Trump and thought they would besmirch the site——
Fortunately FREE(speech)Republic didn’t belong to them nor does it to you.
Sad, but true. Nearly as soon as it ended, there was Sandy Berger’s socks and it went down hill from there.
If Q is for real and his rabbit droppings are not the fever dreams of a pig farmer, but real super spy squirrel goodies, as Q followers believe, then I suppose you are saying Q followers also believe the everyone at NSA, etc., etc., etc., are in on it as “white hats”? Seeing as how they haven’t seemed interested in identifying and shutting down this Q?
Seems to me, they have better things to do than chase after every tinfoil pusher on the internet. But then, I think Q is just another grifter. Perhaps it started off as a LARP just for larks, but then it shifted into serious grifter territory.
I think Q followers are mainly good people, patriotic people, caring people.
