Ok. I’m not computer genius and I don’t know if anyone knows how to tell me in a simple way how to get rid of this but when I right click on a photo and attempt to save to my IPAD photos I get this message: Cannot save photo the file couldn’t be saved (NSCocoaErrorDomain512)
I have looked this up on Google and the answers to fix this problem are bewildering to me. Stuff about strings and document file.
Is there a way to fix this easily?
Btw this is on my IPAD. I do not have a smartphone.
YOU CAN CALL APPLE AND THEY WILL YELL YOU HOW TO FIX IT.
OR, AT LEAST THEY ALWAYS WOULD!
If your iOS was out of date, the error may very well disappear with the software update. Please report back if it still happens.
Steve Jobs says you don’t NEED to save internet pictures on you Apple products.
There goes that donation
;)
Are you logged on? Is your machine plugged in to recharge?
Funny.
Cruel.
But funny.
I’m with you FIS, how the heck do you right click on an iPad? Just take a screenshot.
Try saving the picture as a different filename than the one you’ve been choosing. If you can’t try saving it to your Desktop and then move it to the folder where you want to save it.
iPad Pro model number MQF02LL/A
The problem is caused by creating a directory with the name of the image, then trying to write a file in place of the directory. In other words, you are first creating a directory named:
Documents/girl.png/
then you try to write a file to the path:
Documents/girl.png
Cocoa the monkey
You hold your finger on the photo till up comes the little menu where you can choose save image.
Yeah, no right click though lol,
Step 1. Drive to a nearby park, waterway or lake.
Step 2. Gaze upon the beauty of the landscape.
Step 3. Gripping your Ipad tightly, spin around and around like a discus thrower and hum that discombobulated dysfunctional piece of junk into the water and watch it sink.
Yeah but Steve Jobs kinda doesn’t need to save ANYTHING now....
Oh wow oh wow oh wow

You may not be able to save the image from your google search. Use the link in your search to go to the page where the pic originated and try saving from there.
If the pic is not on that link anymore, it could be why you can’t save it.
Be glad it is not an error massage.

You should hear my bit on Risk Management!
I did the update and then I cleared my history and website data just to make sure it took, then I tried to save to my photos. Came up with the same error message.
