Impeachment: American Crime Story is due later this year, and will tackle the infamous Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky sex scandal of the 1990s.
As Collider report, Falco will be joined in the series – which is based upon Jeffrey Toobin’s book A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Story of the Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down a President – by Clive Owen, who will play Bill Clinton, Beanie Feldstein (Lewinsky), Sarah Paulson (Linda Tripp), Annaleigh Ashford (Paula Jones) and Billie Eichner (Matt Drudge).
The premise for the third edition of the show was first announced back in 2017. Season one of the crime anthology series, The People v. O. J. Simpson, told the story of the notorious O. J. Simpson murder trial of 1994-5. It aired in 2016 to enormous acclaim and won nine Emmys including acting prizes for Sterling K. Brown, Sarah Paulson and Courtney B. Vance.
Its second season was originally set to focus on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, though ended up being a series based on the infamous 1997 murder of fashion designer Gianni Versace on the steps of his Miami mansion. It aired in 2018.
“I’m going to say it again, and I want you to listen to me.
I did NOT have “sexual relations” with that women, Ms Blewin...
er, Lewinsky, nor did I inhale on that cigar afterwards!
Now I need to go back to work for the American people.”

“Indeed I did have a relationship with Ms. Blewin...,
damn it, LEWINSKY!, that was not appropriate. In fact, it was wrong. It, as many times in my life, before, during and for sure again in the future, constituted a critical lapse in judgment and a personal failure on my part for which I am solely and completely responsible”
Is America ready for another Jeffrey Toobin expose? I think not, but the producers don’t need my approval to proceed.
Not bad . . . actually, Hitlery was kinda' pretty many, many, many years ago.
Who gives a crap.
Start eating now, Edie.
Those thunder thighs and that fat ass will take time to accumulate.
True. But only on the outside.
lol.
I know
Seriously, what is keeping Hillary alive? She obviously has severe health issues. Is it the blood of the children she feeds on?

So she's been doing some background research on her character.Tommy is an American police procedural crime drama television series created by Paul Attanasio that aired on CBS from February 6 to May 7, 2020. The series starred Edie Falco as the first female police chief of the Los Angeles Police Department. In May 2020, the series was canceled after one season.[1]
Plot
The series centers around Abigail "Tommy" Thomas, played by Edie Falco, who becomes the first female Chief of Police for the LAPD. Tommy was a NYPD officer who came to office as a result of a federal judge's order to hire a female police chief. Tommy, who is divorced, has an adult daughter and grand-daughter living in LA. Tommy is gay, and ultimately comes out.
That and she knows she's going to Hell. That'll make her hang on to the last desperate second. The souls of 50+ political murder victims are calling to her:
Has Edie aged enough to play her since the Sopranos or the dumb nurse show she was on?
Ha! Or maybe the guy that played Vito. For more reasons than one, if you know what I mean.
Nurse Jackie?
Toobsteak was a huge Clinton apologist during impeachment. It will be crap and more coverup.
Yeah, I’m sure it will be very accurate, portraying her as the cold blooded gangster that’s had dozens murdered , thru 40+ YEARS.
That was hilarious! I actually lived adjacent to the Philly mob for years, and that show was incredibly accurate.
I am sure there are many more wonderful malapropisms from the show. It will take some time to find them all! :-)
I nominate Sarah Silverman.
wow, nice catch, winner!
