Science is never settled, if you ask me...but what do I know? lol
This is all starting to sound pretty racist. Maybe we should cool it.
And God said the waters rose from the deep.
Just read an article about the errant volcano on the Korea / China border and how the subducted crust is full of water and how some of it got detached over a hot spot that is this volcano.
Glaciers are on land. If they melt, eventually the water should get to the sea and raise the sea level. OTOH, melting sea ice (e.g., icebergs and floating ice sheets) should have no effect on sea levels.
from my fifth grade chapter on the water cycle... nature does not make mistakes... i blame human mathematical error.
math is hard, water is soft, ice is not missing, the epstein didn’t kill himself.
Sounds like a case of one branch of science solving its problem at the expense of another- there are underwater sites deeper than 380 feet (116m), as well as dredged artifacts even deeper, particularly in the Indian Ocean.
Think about it. They’re basically reminding us that the earth heats and cools in cycles — all while telling us that this time the heating is our fault. LOL
I am old enough to remember back when we had something called the "scientific method" that was used to weigh the validity of scientific theories. If a hypothesis was capable of being disproven (falsifiable) but could never be disproved, eventually it was considered settled science. Now science becomes settled whenever enough scientists and politicians (mostly politicians) decide to call it settled.
This is probably silly of my to ask but hey here we go!!
Wouldn’t the portion of the iceberg above water still raise the sea level somewhat?
126 yards? Sea levels receded 126 yards? A little more than a football field?
they still haven’t explained what caused all those woolly mammoths to die instantly with food in their mouths...

The 10,800 BC comet strike does explain that conundrum. I forget the particulars, but the one mile dia rocks coming in at a certain angle and speed suck the cold of space down to ground level, (I may be recalling this wrong). Also this rain of rocks lasted over 100 years, with most of the big ones coming in at the onset.
“But modelling suggests ice volume in glaciers at this point in time wasn’t great enough to explain such a low sea level. So how can we explain this ‘missing’ ice?” Poor modeling?
That’s a lot when you look at a contour map.
126 yards DOWN.....................
And Joe Biden belongs to the day of the week used panties club whats your point
Kayleigh McEnany sure has let herself go
It’s more like adding another ice cube to your glass.
When sea water becomes supersaturated, salt would precipitate and fall to the bottom of the ocean.
That went out the window when the Pope in the long run lost his argument against Galileo. Galileo was wrong that the sun caused the tides but right with his conclusion. The pope was right with the interments at the time that there was no shift with the stars between seasons(to small of a shift to detect.) Though he was wrong with his conclusion.
This great argument was the bases to make the claim that the scientific method shouldn't be how we conduct science. It's gone down hill since. Now I can prove 2+2 =/= 4 using "logical Positivism" the belief every theory has a logical fault therefore no theory is true.
Huh? What is a deep aquifer?
