Since my younger grands moved away I didn’t buy any andy either, or do the eggs. I don’t need candy, put on a few pounds on vacation in spite of walking miles.

I’m going to PM you in a minute.

They claim to like it. The grands say its tiresome to have to put so many clothes on just to go outside.

But we decided to take the Viper anyway, and risk the repercussions!

My Dad gave me his 1976 Monte Carlo for my first car and it was one he let me drive anyways all the time. It was pretty cool and red! Ha such sweet memories.

It looked like this one,so it was a deep red maroon color.
Ha!
I remember I had a choice ,he had a Malibu Cherry red but with a stick shift.
All I remember the Malibu was newer but didn't learn how to drive a standard until I was older. So of course I wanted the automatic back then.

It’s a Fiat x1/9. Hubby and I were married in ‘76 and just out of college. He began working as a band director. We needed a car and loved this one. We had it for eight years. It had a transverse engine just behind the passenger compartment with a trunk in the front and another one in the back behind the engine. When I pulled into a service station the guy would ask if he could check the oil. He’d go to the front. I’d say the engine wasn’t there. He’d go to the rear. I’d say the engine wasn’t there either. HA!

The hardtop roof fit in the front trunk.

I learned on a standard and have not had any automatic cars since. They’re just more fun.

I tried in my Uncle’s Volkswagon when I was 17 and later my husband bought a little chevette when my first daughter was born and I had to learn then! I was 21 years old. Wow I would grind those gears at times or leave off the clutch too quick ..lol hated it, But learned to drive it! Never ever again! LOL!
