Yes!
I went out awhile because I thought no one was here today!
LOL!
Weather is great today but unfortunately last night in East Texas ...Mt. Enterprise and Carthage,Texas was hit pretty bad last night. one person died and quite a bit of destruction to a lot of people’s homes. So sad. I just blew home last night about 8:30 after work and all was okay for us other than a lot of noise and wind. They confirmed it was a F1 and a F2 that hit these areas.

Good for you and let the good times roll! :)
I was there 4 years ago.
The food no matter what you get is always good.
I’ve eaten alligator before, just because my mom’s side of the family cooks so great. Tasty!

I’ve had alligator, too. It is tasty. There also is a feeling of justification in biting them back.

You are so funny!
My step dad's brother owns some land near a bayou and they frequently catch these monsters,so I got a taste of some.
I remember fishing there long while back and asked about these huge indentions coming from the bayou onto the bank... well found out it was gator tracks sliding in and out from the water to the land.
Well needless to say I only fished there once. HA!
I can't out run any gator nor do I want to try.
I'll take fishing in a pond in East Texas over the Bayous of Louisiana any-day! LOL!

We had some refugees (in the correct usage of the word) from New Orleans relocate to Middle Tennessee after Hurricane Katrina. Opened a Cajun restaurant in the middle of nowhere, close to where a lot of the music people live. Some friends and I went there for my 50th birthday.
It was good (and my friends who like Cajun food raved) but there’s something about Cajun food I just can’t handle. I don’t if it’s the combination of spices, or just the fact that it’s highly flavored. I don’t like highly flavored/seasoned food, no matter the type. I’m a pretty bland eater. LOL

It is a whole lot better than alligators eating people! Overseas I use a motorcycle instead of a car. Our town is next to a lake and to get to the next town we must travel along the lake. One of my greatest fears is the chance encounter on my motorcycle with either a snake, or a wild pig, or a crocodile. The latter can be 12 feet long or more.

Lol well yes....if push comes to shove, better that people eat alligator than the other way around. I guess, being Canadian, I’ve never had to think about eating an alligator. Or running into one on the road. I guess if we had gators up here, someone would be throwing them on the barbecue at some point.
