A very different ‘man about town’ from DC. He went walking down around NoMa, which is a neighborhood in DC being gentrified. He walked by the Washington Coliseum, where Eisenhower had his Inaugural Ball and the Beatles played their first US concert. Then he passed by new building construction that’s right next door to bridges where the homeless live. He walked around Union Market and along an renovated street where the old style markets are. When he drove out to get lunch, he drove around the Capitol area and mentioned there’s another street open around the Capitol. About 30 minutes long total. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vADt3pmJuhc&t=6s
Later today, he posted an update on YouTube about the Capitol Fence: https://rollcall.com/2021/03/15/capitol-police-to-begin-moving-back-fence-surrounding-complex/
Congress is not facing the sort of threats that warrant the security fencing that has encompassed the Capitol complex since pro-Trump insurrectionists breached the Capitol on Jan. 6, according to Capitol Police, which will lead to imminent changes to, but not complete removal, of the barrier.
Capitol Police told acting House Sergeant-at-Arms Timothy Blodgett that “there does not exist a known, credible threat against Congress or the Capitol Complex that warrants the temporary security fencing,” according to a memo sent Monday to members of Congress and staff. Therefore, the Capitol Police and the Architect of the Capitol will start making changes to the fencing structure this week.
Plans are to move the inner fence closer to the Capitol, remove the razor wire on that fence and permit more access through roads and sidewalks. There are also plans to remove the outer perimeter fencing and open Independence Avenue and Constitution Avenue for traffic toward the end of the week of March 22.
In some areas, the fence has already receded to allow for more traffic flow, including by Louisiana Avenue Northwest, Washington Avenue Southwest and on Third Street between Independence Avenue Southwest and Constitution Avenue Northwest.
In his memo, Blodgett did not give a timetable for how long the last vestige of fence would be around.
“The inner perimeter fencing will remain around Capitol Square as the [Architect of the Capitol] continues to make necessary security repairs to the Capitol building,” he stated.

First picture. See that woman (I think) doing the at ease military stance that Kamala does.
To bad you didn’t have more time then you could have seasoned, browned on both sides, thrown in the crock pot with a can of Mushroom soup, tad bit of water for 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high. Cook up some rice and put the gravy over the rice. Yummy!
I spent the night in Gila Bend many times. Not a big town.

Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America
The Washington Post just issued a correction as to the contents of the incorrectly reported phone call I had with respect to voter fraud in the Great State of Georgia. While I appreciate the Washington Post’s correction, which immediately makes the Georgia Witch Hunt a non-story, the original story was a Hoax, right from the very beginning. I would further appreciate a strong investigation into Fulton County, Georgia, and the Stacey Abrams political machine which, I believe, would totally change the course of the presidential election in Georgia.
Fulton County has not been properly audited for vote or signature verification. They only looked at areas of the State where there most likely would be few problems, and even there they found large numbers of mistakes. We are seeking to find and reveal the large-scale election fraud which took place in Georgia. Many residents agree, and their anger caused them not to turn out and vote for two Republican Senators in the January election.
The Consent Decree signed between Raffensperger and Stacey Abrams was not approved by the Georgia State Legislature, and therefore should be deemed invalid, and the election result changed. Why the Governor and Raffensperger ever approved this Consent Decree is one of the great questions? We look forward to an answer.
You will notice that establishment media errors, omissions, mistakes, and outright lies always slant one way—against me and against Republicans. Meanwhile, stories that hurt Democrats or undermine their narratives are buried, ignored, or delayed until they can do the least harm—for example, after an election is over. Look no further than the negative coverage of the vaccine that preceded the election and the overdue celebration of the vaccine once the election had concluded. A strong democracy requires a fair and honest press. This latest media travesty underscores that legacy media outlets should be regarded as political entities—not journalistic enterprises. In any event, I thank the Washington Post for the correction.
The LSM is the enemy of the people!
Ohhh, yeah. She does!
I got to looking at some pictures of the Rose Garden....event? ceremony? celebration?....and Kamala spoke during the event. She took her mask off, so it was definitely her in the Rose Garden. In the Oval Office when Biden was signing it, I don’t think she spoke so there could be question it’s really Kamala.
“I don’t think she spoke so there could be question it’s really Kamala.”
Oh I am sure it is Kamala. She is going to be (almost) up front as she can.
Thanks so much for this info exit, very good stuff.
“Loved cooking but ugh it’s just me,so I don’t cook as much!”
I think it’d be nice to have whatever I want. I’d live on peanut butter, love the stuff
That sounds yummy. I do have more time, I put the chops back in the frig for tomorrow. We ggad frozen pizza instead. He’ll BBQ them tomorrow. He has a pellet BBQ that smokes the meat, they’ll be better that way
.
BTTT!
I just want everyone to know that I picked up a click & collect order from Wal-Mart tonight.
In said order there was a bag of Miss Vickies Sea Salt & Vinegar potato chips. The only other flavor option was Jalapeno; I’m not stupid enough to get that.
I’m eating a handful of chips right now.
That is all.
Well, I’m not usually a jealous person, but this will do it! I find the salt and vinegar too salty and vinegary for me...but don’t get me wrong, I’ll eat them if they’re out of the others. You’d be surprised at the Jalapeno....I love them, and I don’t go for hot stuff at all. They are quite mild and delicious. If they are out of Original, the Jalapeno are my go-to.....or my try and stay away from lol.
I just reserved my time for my click and collect and sent in my order and managed for not order Miss Vickies....but it was tough. Sadly, they had my favorite ice-cream on sale....Hagen Daaz Coffee! So good. I don’t stand a chance lol.
Any Republican Georgian who did not vote in the runoff election is not a very clear thinker. I blame the republican party head in Georgia and Ronna McDaniel, head of the RNC for not being out there making it known in every way that they could. that the entire government would be in the hands of the Democrats to do anything they wanted if they gained a tie in the Senate. It boggles my mind that it seems like people thought they were going to really “show” the Republican party by not voting. This must have the Democrats laughing with glee at the stupidity.
I feel like I’m missing out on something important. What is click-and-collect?
I picked up a bag of onion ring chips. Round rings flavored with onion. I finished them off in 2 days. I also like BBQ flavored pig skins.
“What is click-and-collect?”
Not positive but I think it is online Grocery shopping. You click on whatever you want and the store fills the order and you just go and collect it. I do this through Walmart.
Online ordering for pickup.
I read a UK frugal message board and that’s the terminology they use; I guess I picked it up without realizing it!
