We had several, but 2 of them lost their mom at birth and we had to bottle feed them every 4 hours. The 1st few months we had them in a large crate in the kitchen, as nobody wanted to go out to the barn in the middle of the night. Once we could go longer they joined the others. But those 2 always came around to say hi when we were outside.
They’re at Walmart.
So if we all come up across the border are you serving Miss Vicky’s?
Ok, I gave up for the night; my eyes are crossing! LOL
We had one kid we bottle feed and kept in the house. After she grew up she still thought she belonged in the house and would try to get in every chance she had.
I have been very lucky to have found a pet sitter who does farm visits. She even learned to milk. She is a godsend! She was a former cop 😁
My favorite are the goat kids. We put a trampoline and I built a little playground... they jump and leap and do parkour almost as soon as they can walk. So cute! The hardest thing is selling the kids when they are weaned. I like chicken personalities too, and all the different noises they make when they are happy... even the rooster, despite being a bit mean, calls his harem over when I have a handful of treats lol
I have arthritis so I splurged and bought a milking machine - one of the best things I ever did. A lot faster than I ever was and the goats like it better.
Good grief. Now that you showed me the packaging, I realize I’ve walked right by them on the way to the low-salt chips. Will try a bag this week-end.
The next challenge is getting Aero bars without going through Amazon.
Thanks.
Do you have a Publix?
Thanks for the follow up. I’ll try again in an hour or so. Unclear why no other source has picked up on this. If all else fails, I guess I’ll make some calls in the morning.
Maybe he’s seen it with his own eyes but it is being covered up. Or maybe it’s some other security, if so, who’s paying for it?
A different ‘man about town’ video today. Yesterday, Arlington Cemetery opened the Changing of the Guard ceremony to the public after 11 months. He stopped at some notable sites within the Cemetery (Challenger and Columbia disaster plaques, Iranian hostage rescue mission disaster, Joe Louis tomb, JFK eternal flame). The video is less than 20 minutes long, but he broke the scroll bar along the bottom into segments so you know where each section is.
I’m glad he went; I was going to try running into Arlington on my way back to the airport in January, but it was closed that day except to families because they were removing the Wreaths Across America Christmas wreaths.

Bummer. We could all be posting from our Villas in Tuscany if we had gotten credit for our inventions
I grew up a city kid, so when my husband wanted goats, I specifically told him no milking goats. That would just make it harder to find sitters and would be more work. He got fainting goats and maybe 2 pygmy goats?
👍👍
Thanks!
“If” is the biggest word in the dictionary.
I love Fritos! One of my favorite meals when I don’t feel like cooking is a Frito salad. Layer fritos on the bottom, then some chili, lettuce, salsa, black olives, sour cream, whatever you like. Looks like I better get some Fritos cuz now I want that this week.
“even the rooster, despite being a bit mean, calls his harem over when I have a handful of treats lol”
How sweet. I’m surprised he’s willing to share the goodies.
