I just realized something...I read a blogger from Canada; they're normally snowbirds in the winter, taking an RV to the southwest US. Of course, they couldn't come this year. He's also an amateur photographer. When they're home in Canada, he writes and posts photos of the area. They live in Bayfield. So I've seen the names Goderich, London, Stratford a LOT! LOL
He also posts jokes/cartoons/memes. Here's one he posted recently:

It’s a lot of the Toronto crowd. We’re an hour away, and pretty close to highway access. A cool million doesn’t get you a lot of home in Toronto, plus you’re in Toronto. I’m thinking we could cash in nicely because we have a raised ranch. A completely finished nice 3 bedroom apartment on the lower floor....big living room with gas fireplace, nicely finished kitchen with all appliances, big bathroom with double vanity.
If someone with no children or only 1 child was good to live on the upper floor (about 1,600 sq. ft.), the lower floor can be rented out and will more than pay for the mortgage.

but this is self-serving (and perhaps ignorant, but perhaps malignant) nonsense
the take-away is because it was a racist and discriminatory decision in his individual case
BUT by brit law, going back to 1917, the title of prince is extended only as far as the grandsons (and princess only to the granddaughters) of the monarch; the great-grandchildren, of which Archie is one (and didn’t they make a big thing when he was born about how he would be “just Archie” without titles?) are not given the title prince/princess - the only exception is for the grandchildren of the heir apparent (great grandchildren of the monarch), because they are in direct succession, as Harry and his children are not - Harry, at least, would/should know this
sort of ironic that a self-serving and conniving (IMHO) manipulator (also IMHO) might destroy the monarchy when centuries of republican argument and agitation could not bring it down

Yes, it is. The company that owns it were selling all surplus property last summer, but they had so many commercial/industrial lots, they’ve been working on closing those first. Huh. As if multi-million dollars deals are of more importance than my little acre on the laker.
