I’m glad he got a nice welcome from what appears to be Christian children.

No Jews, No Jesus at Pope’s ‘Abrahamic’ Event

NASSIRIYA, Iraq (ChurchMilitant.com) - Jesus and the Jews were both conspicuously missing from Pope Francis’ Saturday interfaith service at the Plain of Ur — publicized by the Vatican event as the birthplace of Abraham.

In his lengthy address, Francis did not mention “Jesus” even once, and the prayer concluding the event did not use the standard trinitarian formula or end in “the name of Jesus.”

The pope avoided naming the Hebrew prophet “Isaiah” in his speech while citing the prophecy of nations beating “their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning hooks.”

Francis’ address and the concluding “Prayer of the Children of Abraham” also intentionally stopped short of calling “Isaac” the “son of Abraham.”

The Yezedis, denounced by Muslims as “devil worshippers,” were not given a role in the papal interreligious event — even though the Vatican had previously announced their participation.

I understand how an individual could dilute himself into thinking that he was a pro-life evangelical and was for Biden. He would have to be a person who watched no news and read no other information except very limited MSM outlets.

I cannot, however, see how any group, no matter how loosely organized, could possibly think that Joe Biden, who may be the most outspoken abortion protecting president ever, was going to protect life. This means that no one in any position of leader ship or organization in that group chose to access any factual information.

I can understand how a judge might rule on something that seemed to be against protecting the life of the unborn because a judge’s job is to compare what is presented to him with the law. That is not the role of the president, however. There is no excuse for a president to say ......I am personally against abortion but I will protect abortion wherever it appears. That is just hypocritical and dishonest.

Ashli Babbitt’s family’s legal team releases statement

Attorneys representing Ashli Babbitt’s family recently released a statement.

Babbitt was unarmed when she was shot and killed by a law enforcement officer at the Capitol on the day of the riots.

For some reason, the name of the office who shot her has not been released.

Babbitt attorney’s statement appears below:

The shooting of Ashli Babbitt on January 6, 2021 by an unidentified U.S. Capitol Police Officer was an unjustified use of deadly force which violated her constitutional rights. It is clear from video footage that Ashli did not pose a danger to the officer, or any other person, when she was shot. Ashli was unarmed. She did not assault anyone. She did not threaten to harm anyone. There was no excuse for taking her life.

It is a universal law enforcement standard that a police officer should use no more force than necessary to accomplish a lawful purpose. At 5′ 2″ tall and 110 pounds, an arrest of Ashli could have been accomplished by a single trained officer with a set of handcuffs. At the time of the shooting, there were over a half-dozen police officers in close proximity to the Speaker’s door where Ashli was standing. Some of those officers had just allowed protesters access to the door by stepping aside. Other officers, dressed in full tactical gear, stood among the protesters just a few feet behind the door. Still others stood casually at the opposite end of the Speaker’s Lobby, unconcerned with the activities of Ashli and the protesters around her. All of these officers were in a position to have aided in the apprehension of Ashli if it was necessary. Given her background as a 14-year veteran of the Air Force, it is likely that Ashli would have complied with simple verbal commands, thereby making the use of any force unnecessary.

However, the officer who shot Ashli never attempted to arrest her. Nor did he call on his fellow officers to arrest her. Instead, he fired a shot into her chest. Witnesses confirm that the officer did not give Ashli a single verbal warning prior to firing. In fact, Ashli was not even aware that the officer was present, as he was located in the doorway of a room off to the side of her field of vision.

To date, the officer who shot Ashli has not been identified. Neither the Capitol Police nor any other governmental authority has given an account of the facts surrounding the shooting. There has been no official explanation or justification for the use of lethal force in this matter. This lack of transparency impedes the public scrutiny which is necessary to hold government officials accountable in a free society. It also interferes with the ability of Ashli’s family to obtain justice for their loss.

Well stated. The “good Catholics” like Biden and Pelosi have gotten away with murder, literally.

There’s something creepy about her shooting. They needed a murder, to call the protest a violent riot.

Rockin’ out with Thomas Paine tonight. This one made it to the top of the charts:

“These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.”

And:

“He who dares not offend cannot be honest.”

I’m looking at YOU, Joe Biden!

Can you pour one cup into another? Why did you post this when it’s time to go to sleep?

Spoiler Alert: My answer.
  1. You have five cups. A full cup, an empty cup, full cup, empty cup, full cup.
  2. Pick up the full glass on the end.
  3. Empty the contents of the cup in your hand into the empty cup in between the two full cups (there are four cups on the table at this point. One cup is in your hand and still moving.)
  4. DO NOT return the now empty cup in your hand to its original position.
  5. Continue moving it to the end of the line opposite its original position. If it was on the left, it should now be on the right.
  6. The cups should now be: empty cup, full cup, full cup, full cup, empty cup.

What do you think? Is this the solution? It works for me!
