Keep in mind that TV shows are aimed at an audience with an IQ at least 20 points lower than a radio audience.
And part of Trump's appeal is that he's been so "unscripted" for most of his adult life!

Would not draw enough advertising revenue to support national syndication. Local affiliates will bail. This is about making money, not sentimentalism.
