A "Son Of God" has to be created by God. Who has God created? He Created Adam and He created Angels. Jesus was created By God, ergo He is the Son of God. We have been given the right to become "Sons of God" by Rebirth in the Spirit.

No one else can be called a Son of God. In Job, we have the same term "Sons of God" and it is plain that these are angels. You don't know Adam was NOT an angel of God before he sinned. The Hebrew word for "light" is ore. The Hebrew word for "skin" is ore also. Adam was a creature of light before he sinned. Jesus was clothed in skin until He was seen on the Mt. of Transfiguration as a creature of light. Jesus is known as the "Second Adam".

The books of Enoch and Jasher were in the Cannon when Jesus was walking on earth. Enoch is still in the far eastern scriptures. Jude, the brother of Jesus, mentioned the book of Enoch in Jude 1:14. The founders of the church were familiar with Enoch and Jasher and believed what it said. Jasher was mentioned twice in Scripture.

Jos 10:12 Then Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel: "Sun, stand still over Gibeon; And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon."

Jos 10:13 So the sun stood still, And the moon stopped, Till the people had revenge Upon their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day.

Jos 10:14 And there has been no day like that, before it or after it, that the Lord heeded the voice of a man; for the Lord fought for Israel.

So what you are saying is God didn't stop the sun in the sky so Joshua could defeat the Amorite giants? The Amorites were giants.(Amos 2:9) Just look at all the scripture you are declaring a lie if fallen angels didn't mate with human women and produce monsters. It's too much to sweep under the rug.

2Sa 1:17 Then David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son,

2Sa 1:18 and he told them to teach the children of Judah the Song of the Bow; indeed it is written in the Book of Jasher:

King David declared that the story in Jasher about Saul's death would be taught to the generations.

Don't forget that the Cannon of Scripture was built by men. Since then books have been added and left out. Maccabees has been taken out just since the 1800's. Tobit, Judith, Sirach, Wisdom, and others are in some and out of others.

Read Joshua and see that God wanted Israel to kill everything that breathed in Jericho. When you read scripture that says "utterly destroy", that means you kill them, then stack them in a pile and set fire to them, and then pile rocks on top of the ashes.

Jos 6:21 And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, ox and sheep and donkey, with the edge of the sword.

The reason God Flooded the earth was to kill the giants born after Gen 6:1. They were evil. They were demonic. They came from fallen angels. It's all plainly described in Scripture in detail.

If you are going to call yourself a believer, you need to believe Scripture. So many Christians say they believe, but it took millions of years for the earth to be completed, the sun really didn't stop in the sky, and donkeys don't talk but somehow they say they believe a dead man rose from the grave. Since I've been born again I believe every jot and tittle and even the punctuation placing has meaning. It's dangerous to try to pooh pooh the Word of God and make up what you think it says. It's eye opening to actually study the Hebrew and Greek words to see where the translators have mistranslated the King James Bible. One mistranslation that makes a difference in Gen 4:26.

Gen 4:26 And as for Seth, to him also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call on the name of the Lord.

Men calling on the name of the Lord sounds like a good thing, but the word used for "began" actually means Defiled or Profaned. So the meaning is changed to "Men began to profane or defile the name of the Lord." There is a whole denomination of people that believe that the "Sons of God" are Sons of Seth because of this mistranslation.

Who has God created?

All of us.

Psalm 139: 13-18

You don't know Adam was NOT an angel of God before he sinned.

Yeah, I do.

Genesis 1:27

The books of Enoch and Jasher were in the Cannon when Jesus was walking on earth

Well... no.

At least not the ones you are reading.

The currently called Book of Enoch is not even Jewish at all but Ethiopian.

The reason God Flooded the earth was to kill the giants born after Gen 6:1. They were evil. They were demonic. They came from fallen angels. It's all plainly described in Scripture in detail.

Nonsense.

God sent the flood because the earth was filled with violence. humans are quite evil on their own. No need to dream up some sort of demi-god to explain people being murderous.

Besides according to you God totally failed.

If you are going to call yourself a believer, you need to believe Scripture.

Yes, you do.

The reason God Flooded the earth was to kill the giants born after Gen 6:1. They were evil. They were demonic. They came from fallen angels. It's all plainly described in Scripture in detail.

Genesis
English: New American Standard BibleEnglish: King James VersionEnglish: American Standard Version
1Now it came about, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them,And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the ground, and daughters were born unto them,
2that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose. That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all that they chose.
3Then the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; nevertheless his days shall be one hundred and twenty years."And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. And Jehovah said, My spirit shall not strive with man for ever, for that he also is flesh: yet shall his days be a hundred and twenty years.
4The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of God came unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them: the same were the mighty men that were of old, the men of renown.
5Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And Jehovah saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6The LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And it repented Jehovah that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7The LORD said, "I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the sky; for I am sorry that I have made them."And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. And Jehovah said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the ground; both man, and beast, and creeping things, and birds of the heavens; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
The text doesn't support your view
  1. Gen 6:2 says the sons of God took human wives. It doesn't say angels, doesn't say what these "sons of God" were.

  2. Gen 6:4 says "They were giants" AND then says "there were giants when the sons of God came into daughters..." -- but it's not clear if they Nephilim/giants ARE the results of those unions or if they existed at the same time

  3. 6:4 does make it clear that the progeny of the unions were might men, heroes, men of renown

  4. 6.5 says "the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great" -- it doesn't say the wickedness of the giants or of the "men of renown", just "of man" - no further clarity

From the text you cannot say The reason God Flooded the earth was to kill the giants born after Gen 6:1. They were evil. They were demonic. They came from fallen angels. It's all plainly described in Scripture in detail.

The text only says that there were giants at the same time as the sons of god mated with the daughters of men. Nothing more.

The text doesn't say that those then were evil or demonic.

The text does not say the reason for the flood was to kill the giants, but to kill humans period

Deviating slightly - but the Sumerian flood story always makes me chuckle.

The Sumerian gods - the Annunaki created humans in the Sumerian tales as slaves - the gods didn’t want to do their own ploughing etc.

The great gods Ea, Anu, enlil, ninurta etc. got ticked off with humans making noise disturbing Ea while he was drinking his beer (I kiddest you not :)

So they decide “ah, lets get rid of these noisy slaves and flood them”
