The reason God Flooded the earth was to kill the giants born after Gen 6:1. They were evil. They were demonic. They came from fallen angels. It's all plainly described in Scripture in detail.

The text doesn't support your view

Gen 6:2 says the sons of God took human wives. It doesn't say angels, doesn't say what these "sons of God" were.
Gen 6:4 says "They were giants" AND then says "there were giants when the sons of God came into daughters..." -- but it's not clear if they Nephilim/giants ARE the results of those unions or if they existed at the same time
6:4 does make it clear that the progeny of the unions were might men, heroes, men of renown
6.5 says "the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great" -- it doesn't say the wickedness of the giants or of the "men of renown", just "of man" - no further clarity

The text only says that there were giants at the same time as the sons of god mated with the daughters of men. Nothing more.

The text doesn't say that those then were evil or demonic.

The text does not say the reason for the flood was to kill the giants, but to kill humans period

"Sons of God" are created by God himself. We are sons of man. That limits the possibilities to Adam, angels, and Jesus. We have become Sons of God when we are "born again Spiritually." In Job "Sons of God" plainly means angels.

Giants were born when the Sons of God went into the daughter of men. How plain can God make it? These monsters were made when angels and women produced children.

2Sa 21:20 Yet again there was war at Gath, where there was a man of great stature, who had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot, twenty-four in number; and he also was born to the giant.

Num 13:32 And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, "The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature.

God makes it plain as day that these fallen angels had sex with earth women and produced freaks of nature called Nephilim. They ate the inhabitants of the land. It took two men to carry one cluster of grapes on a pole. They corrupted God's creation. God sent Joshua, Saul, and David to kill all the giants.

I don't understand all the push back on this statement. God says plainly what happened and what He would do about it. If the seed of the woman was going to destroy the seed of Satan, where would the seed of Satan come from if not from sex with earth women? Satan's DNA is amongst us today.

Gen 6:9 This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.

Gen 6:10 And Noah begot three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Gen 6:11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

Gen 6:12 So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

Gen 6:13 And God said to Noah, "The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Notice Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord, so he was a normal sinful man or he wouldn't need grace. But then it says he was perfect in his generations. God had waited till there was only one man with clean DNA left on earth. Everyone else on the earth had tainted DNA or tainted "generations". If God was going to produce a woman with His "seed", it would have to come from Noah through Shem. The "curse of Canaan" came through Ham. Nimrod was the first known giant after the Flood.(Septuagint)

Are disbelievers saying Goliath was the only Giant? Do they believe Goliath was just a large man? What was the size of Og's bed? Was it just Goliath and Og giants, or did Goliath have 4 brothers?

Any reader of Scripture must be able to see that there were many giants, perhaps hundreds of thousands of Giants. They had over 400 years to lay in wait for Israel to come to Canaan. All of the Hebrew writings agree with fallen angels making Nephilim and Noah was the remedy God used to fix it.

Most of the things you say the Text doesn't say, it plainly says to me. The only other explanation for what you are saying is you must hold the Sethite view.That was invented about the 4th century by a Catholic named Africanus or some such name. No one else agrees. Everyone else agrees that it was fallen angels and there is no indication in Scripture that it could have anything to do with Seth.

Genesis 4:26 is a poor translation in most modern Bibles.

Gen 4:26- And as for Seth, to him also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call on the name of the Lord.

"Then men began to call on the name of the Lord." should read "Then Men began to profane or defile the name of the Lord. See International Standard version for the correct interpretation.

H2490 in the Strongs means to defile and preofane everywhere else in the Bible it's used. There is zero evidence that Seth's descendants were ever called the sons of God. Along with Genesis 6, "Sons of God" is used as angels in Job. The only men that can be Sons of God must be born of the Spirit of God in the NT as in Mat 5:9, Luk 20:36, Rom 8:14, Rom 8:19, and Gal 3:26. God is Spirit and must create His sons. We are sons of men until we are "Born Again". You must be Born Again of the Spirit or you won't see Heaven. God is Spirit. Some make fun of "born again Christians", but Jesus said plainly unless you are born again, you can't go to Heaven. You must be adopted into the Spiritual family of God to be a "son of God" and they are the only ones going to Heaven.

Angels are spiritual beings, but they can appear as anything.

Heb 13:2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. Angels can take human form and be tempted just as men are. Jesus was called the Son of God, or Angel of the Lord, but was tempted as a man in the wilderness and He was equipped like a man. Angels don't have sex, IN HEAVEN, because God creates in Heaven and there is no need for angels to procreate. It doesn't mean they Can't procreate.
