Juan Williams, the lone liberal co-host on Fox News chat show The Five, had a question.
Like people across the country after Donald Trump’s rally in Tampa, Florida, on Tuesday, he wanted to know what was going on with all the Trump supporters holding up “QAnon” signs and wearing “Q” shirts.

Because they hailed Trump as some kind of messiah, and he liked that.
One thing I’ve noticed is how opinions about Q and the anons are very similar to those about Rush Limbaugh, and how you’ll learn more about the person who holds the opinion than about the topic itself.
For me, it’s best to go to the source and read or listen for myself, instead reading or listening to the “experts” who never did, but somehow know all about it anyway.
The same is also true about the Bible and pretty much everything else in the world nowadays, especially so when our politics touches it.

Q is like CBS, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC the new york times. A group where wild ideas fed to people who do not think for themselves.

“Q” is short for ‘QWERTY’.
In 2018, Q posted “The Midterms are safe!”
At the time, there were likely around 5 million followers (of varying degree) of Q. “The Midterms are safe!” was very well known among them (and others).
How many stayed home for the midterms who believed it wouldn’t matter because “The Midterms are safe!”? 5%? That would be 250,000 otherwise Patriots who didn’t vote. Because “The Midterms are safe!”
The house was flipped to democrat control by less than 100,000 votes.
That’s what you need to know about Q and its followers.
Q = Deep State?
Over time, the closing of the posts became simply the letter Q.
Q claimed to be a group of (most likely) military intelligence personnel, with occasional posts by Q+, which was thought to be President Trump.
Q said two things about himself:
1) there are less than 10 people who know all of what is going on
2) of those, only 3 are non-military.
Q also emphasized "no outside comms" -- meaning, only posts verified by the known Q tripcode at the top of the posts, were genuine -- AND, more importantly, that Q would not post on any other forum.
At some point along the way, there was a post or two (which I didn't save, dash it all !), purporting to be from the owner of the board Q posted on, claiming that some of the obscure alphanumeric strings inside of Q posts, were really obscure minutae relating to technical details of model railroading.
Q's response to that, is what convinced me Q is genuine.
Q first probed with a question or two, and then firmed up, immediately saying "Board compromised."
In other words, he didn't attempt to contradict, didn't argue, didn't call names, none of the usual stuff you see on the Internet.
His concern was SOLELY with Operational Security.
Q then said he would prove his bona fides by ceasing to post on that thread; that nobody else would post on that thread using his tripcode. This introduced falsifiability, since at that point anyone at all could prove Q to be a fake, simply by posting under that tripcode.
It never happened.
Q migrated over to 8kun, under another board; a number of discussion boards and threads sprang up, where people reading Q posts would post related information or discuss possible interpretations of what Q had said.
Along the way, a large number of people attempted to latch on / hijack / LARP on their own, but were uniformly BTFO in short order.
There were a number of others, however, who (on Twitter / Gab / similar sites) offered longer interpretations or plausible descriptions of things.
As to Q being a secret society or cult, nope. Not even the slightest. Q posts are repeated on a number of different websites independent of 8kun, and anyone can read exactly the same content on those sites.

Q posted over and Over and OVER, "Think for yourself" or "Think logically" or "Research for yourself" going all the way back to Spring 2018.
Q wanted people to decouple from the MSM programming, and said that the Deep State, the Cabal, wanted people divided and fighting with one another, rather than fighting the Deep State.

Ask yourself a very simple question.
Why is the FAKE NEWS media continually expending resources to defame, debunk, and cast as a conspiracy, for, as they say, a nobody who started on 4chan?
Why did the FAKE NEWS media attempt to cast blame of recent events on the 'Q' movement?
Was it an attempt to silence?
Together with links to almost 40 MSM news stories from the prior week, attempting to link Q to a synagogue shooting...
In that connection, look at the response of the MSM and the Congresscritters to Jan 06.
Trump was speaking, over 1/2 hour walk away from the Capitol, for what was it, 1/2 hour before the first protestors entered the Capitol building. People were already entering the Capitol. Congress ran and left in a panic; in the meantime, there are all kinds of videos of unspeakable atrocities like old women taking selfies in the lobby between the movie-theater-style hanging railings; of fur hat guy going up the steps accompanied by maybe a dozen or two photographers; of an middle-aged guy putting his feet up on a Congresscritter's desk!
The only person shot, was an unarmed, middle-aged, mother of three, climbing through a window; despite there being a pair of uniformed, body-armored, long-gun-carrying marked policemen on the staircase behind her.
And the guy who filmed her shooting, as it turns out, was paid $35,000 by CNN; and the head of Proud Boys turns out to have been an FBI informant. And the policeman who was "clubbed with a fire extinguisher" actually wasn't and died of unrelated causes a day or two later.
Nothing like a *real* revolution in Romania, where Nicolae Ceaușescu and his wife were lined up and shot; or Iraq, with Saddam Hussein trading religious insults with the hangman over who was a better Muslim, before being hanged; or Libya, with Qaddafi (who actually DID stop his nuclear program and turn over a new leaf) being anally raped with a bayonet.
All the Congresscritters were at work 6 hours later.
...the truth is, Q had posted that the left would attempt a color revolution in wake of the election, and that the playbook was known. One of the essential ingredients is the overreaction of an unpopular national/secret police force in response to mob violence.
The ONLY possible conclusion according to Congress and the MSM?
"DRUMPF AND Q STARTED THIS, and they must pay!"
On all counts, the exact opposite of the truth.

While probably fake, the dangerous thing about Q was that he was giving people hope that we could fight our corrupt government, and hope is a very dangerous thing indeed.

And a gazillion dupes believed. And sat on their hands instead of burning upnthe phones to their senators saying “Trump needs to fire ___!,” and marching on DC with pitchforks.
When Q failed badly and Trump lost, finally a bunch did gather in protest in DC, but it was too late.
So yeah, likely the DNC, maybe with Fusion GPS involved. Seeding info to the Q chan kids. And boy, did it work.
What is “R”?

Q is not a scam.
If he were some rando posting crap, FBI would have hunted him down, and he would be in handcuffs for triggering an insurrection by now. You can argue he is a Cabal/Deep-State psyop to produce apathy on our side, or he is Mil Intel opposed to Cabal, and too high to touch. But you can’t just say he is a fraud, because a fraud would have been nailed to a cross by now to teach others to not do that.
I’ve seen the surveillance in real life, like that which triggered David Patterson’s first press conference, and I know about the machine behind the scenes firsthand, so I have a little more info than the average Joe.
Q was definitely plugged in to still be anonymous and unknown.

Also, your argument that Q must be legit, or else he’d have been pilloried by the State, is complete crap. The Q “movement” did nothing to help Trump at all—at every step, Q worked to destroy Trump’s work and discredit him. If anything, the State were probably quite happy to let the Q pranksters keep spewing their garbage for all the nutters who believed it.
I have always been clear, what Q said made sense given the massive domestic surveillance machine, just as bad as the Stasi, which was clearly operational in the US (I’ve seen it, and knew people who were in it - you would not believe how bad it is).
But I have always allowed Q could have been anything from disinfo to legit. Anybody who says they know what he was 100% would either be connected to it, the highest ranking surveillance/intel, or full of crap. Nobody can say what he was exactly beyond speculation. I am still amazed people are so invested in their own opinions they get in fights over it and resort to personal attacks.
That said, he was clearly plugged in, given he predicted not just the day of McCain’s death 45 days out, but the minute on the death certificate 30 days out.
And as I have said, the surveillance in this nation is so extensive when NY Governor David Patterson took office, two guys walked into his office and laid out all of his secrets going back decades, and showed him he and been under surveillance or 30 years. His first press conference was held immediately where he revealed that, and proceeded to reveal all his secrets so they could no longer blackmail him. Our problems are a lot bigger than stolen elections, though that appears their latest trick.
Right now, surveillance knows who Q is, and if he was just some kid, they’d make an example out of him just to chill our tendency to comment online. That he is still unknown supposedly, and nobody is going after him despite “Insurrection” and “Terrorism” speaks volumes.
