The amazing thing is the accuracy of the guidance systems on these entries. Coming in at 12000 mph, they are landing this rover in a crater about the size of Cook County. Engineers are remarkable people.

News from NASA Mission Control: we have found a frozen, dead world which will destroy any mechanical devices sent to explore it. But that’s just outside the window - the Mars mission looks pretty good.
