As with a third party, the threat is useful tactic. I hope the left call the bluff.
Let’s Do This!!
Remember The Alamo! Remember Goliad!!
I loved the two years I lived in Texas. I could move back.
I hope to HELL that they do! We can get along just fine without DC far better than DC can get along without Texas!
California was looking at doing this in 2017.
Would the Austinite Marxists fight as an insurgency against it if it happened?
Louisiana has proven that they'll support any democrat, no matter how bad, so long as he has the surname of Edwards.
Florida too! Form a gulf state energy, agriculture and tourism union.
And after you do... Please annex the southern half and the eastern 1/4 of New Mexico (except for Dona Ana County.... they can go back to being part of Old Mexico for all I care.)
“I’ll be gone to Texas..”
What makes you think the Republic of Texas would have lax immigration policies.
Instead, you should understand that the Republic of Texas would have very strict immigration policies on our southern border as well as western, northern and eastern borders.
It’s going to be a very good wall around the entire state.
The biggest problem with Texas secession will be funding the northern border wall.
I was there about 10 years ago, Dallas..... was ready to get out! Nobody spoke English... had to bring a girl from un back at a McDonald’s to take our order, the front lounge spoke no English. Hated the place
I’d like Az to join the secession. We could have a ‘new nation chili cook off!’
No, just re-locate them to facilities in Presidio and Brewster counties.
The wall along the Oklahoma border will be a Great Wall and don’t forget about the walls along the borders of Louisiana, Arkansas and New Mexico.
Me too. But the thread is also worthwhile.
Remember the Alamo!! The second time will be a charm!
I do wonder, though. What will the fruitcakes in CA use to power their airplanes? Wonder if they can make batteries for them airplanes?
I was thinking the northern border would be somewhere north of Fort McMurray.
