Also talked to him about the reasons the MSM gave why the plane JB rode on was not designated as AF1. They had several reasons including plane was too small, it was Pence’s smaller plane and the wrong model plane.
No one on MSM mentioned any plane President road on was designated AF1. Was surprised they even brought it up at the local station (Battle Creek).

I’d like to know who gave the content of a private chat group to the NY Times about Cruz.
There is a lot more people in the chain of command responsible for day to day utility operations in TX than a US Senator.

Don’t know if this would help any, but stumbled upon it a few days ago.
It’s aa article from a airplane tracking site, talking about the various aircraft that both Biden and PDJT used during the 2020 campaign. Has who was on board, where it went, and which plane (Biden also had a fleet of planes, not just one).
Also talks a bit about how they fly 2 planes (one’s a backup/decoy) plus some cargo planes with equipment, motorcade vehicles, etc. Also explains that sometimes the smaller planes are used for the President due to the size of the airfields or because the big’uns aren’t available because of maintenance or scheduling. In the listing, it clearly shows President Trump using the C-32 09-0016 more than once, which was the one used yesterday. Maybe it would be helpful to them, or anybody else.

Any plane with President should be designated AF 1. It’s not. Plane to Wisconsin was 09-17. 9= I. 17=Q. I Q.
Call numbers are designated by pilot is my understanding. Got one with a sense of humor. BIL did not catch what the Michigan plane was designated just heard the discussion and rationale that it wasn’t AF -1 So.
