15 degrees here and the birds are already mobbing the feeders. Doesn’t appear to be any new snow; it’s still off to the west and south. Predicting another 1-2 inches. Working on shopping list for this weekend-birdseed is at the top of the list!
The sun is out so hopefully after the roads are plowed and sanded they will be relatively bare. But, yes. The other guy.
When I was refilling the bird feeder , the birds were "in my face". About 1 inch away.

Sigh. Is climate change something that needs ‘solving’? It has been going on since earth began and, presumably, will only stop when we are a cold, atmosphere-less rock drifting in space. I have yet to hear what the right climate is, or a case for why cooler is better when, with a warmer climate, we have more plants (I thought deforestation was bad) and can better support life.
Where is the science in support of the perceived basic problem?
I am just so frustrated these days by the lemming-march.
