Our county just got declared RED. Only emergency vehicles on the roads. Itβs snowing, blowing and drifting here. Then temperatures are dropping even more.
Yep....cows are good. They do have their fuzzy coats....I love that look, on them :-)
Hubby opened up the back pasture gates so they go down to the (treed) creekbed and huddle, together.
They have plenty of water and hay down there, too.
Sweet cows. Thanks for asking about them.
I’m trying to teach my cat the concept of playing fetch. We’ve had several cats that were naturals, this one not so much.
Are you guys going to be okay, in the camper??
Can you fill the tub with water?
Keep us posted, please.
Just think of it like this-since you’re moving a little at a time, you can go ahead and put things where you want them from the get-go!
IMHO, the roads can be worse if the snow has melted, then the cold turns it into ice. Flatlands aren’t as bad but some places like overpasses can be.
You never realize how much stuff you have until you move.
Weβve had no water for days. Melting snow to flush toilet Have bottled water to drink. Bath with wet wipes for now. Once we can get out we will get showers at friends homes.
Wilderness for 40 days. ?
For all who are interested, I just sent out our February Prayer and Praise letter. If you would like to have one, please send me your email address via Freepmail.
The good thing is you haven’t sold the old house yet, so it’s not a rush to get completely out.
When I was younger my Gramp and I would take walks together. When walking by someone he tipped his hat and said “How do”. Such great memories of that gentleman.
ma’am.
I know....I saw that π©
That’s why I was wondering if you could use your tub, for water holding ‘tank’, so you didn’t have to keep going out to get buckets of snow.
How’s your propane holding out? Is the camper on propane? I imagine you are well stocked, if so.
The pic I saw of it looks similar to one we used to have (for camping/hunting).
Lol are you greeting me or correcting me? I don’t mind either. It’s a weird word, and I did look it up, and mame is what I got. Your ma’am makes more sense. It’s a contraction - drop the d and add the apostrophe. But shouldn’t it have an e on the end?
:-)
Auntie Mame, ma’am.
Awww, you are good cow owners.
I was just talking to my daughter-in-law about that, we had a rag doll that loved to chase bouncy balls. At least I assume she was at least part that from how she looked and her personality. Didn’t really bring him back though. My dog doesn’t either. At least I don’t get stuck having to throw the ball for hours. Our neighbors used to have a border collie. She was relentless, they had to play for hours at a time.
LOL, it can be a little intimidating at first. I had some boxes of foil and sandwich bags and stuff, opened up the pantry and had all these beautiful clean white empty shelves. I just kind of stuck them on one not knowing if that was the right place or not.
Yes. Stay safe and warm.

My youngest daughter, years ago, dated a guy that opened doors for her, etc. I told her he was cavalier, and she didn’t know what that meant. She told him what I said and apparently he did know what it meant.
I dated a guy for several years, after awhile I told him I thought it was bad manners that, when we went somewhere, he’d open the door and enter first. He was quick witted, so he told that was because it we were to face shooting or other trouble he would be the one to go down. ROFL, but after that I noticed he opened the door for me.
