Big ol' storm coming down from Canada, started snowing day before yesterday don't look like it's going to stop until late next week. Foot or so on the ground right now.

Temperature right at zero just now and heading for -15 to -20 by morning. Then I guess it'll settle down and get some serious snow and cold.

No problem until the fuel oil won't run through the pipe. (That's about -50 and haven't seen that for at least a couple years.)

Hey, it's Winter, people! (Now we'll have to catch some of these newcomers from CA before they knock down too many fences and stuff.....)

We sat outdoors, for dinner, tonight. Under a clear sky and a propane heater tower, nearby. I still had my layers on....and, my jacket in the seat next to me.

Hubby said I wouldn’t last long, in a SD winter.

Sitting here wondering all day about the path these spy planes high up in our skies are taking over my town. Its none stop and it frightens me if I stop and think hard about it. I'm thinking they are crisscrossing our country (as Thomas Wictor is thinking)but its unsetting that my area is in their path. As I've been saying, they are flying so high up one can't see them.

wee hours hello. terrible sleep patterns. been up since 10.. went to sleep a few hours prior. I try to tell myself that we can sleep when we need to and when God wakes us up we are perhaps supposed to be doing something. Here it is difficult as the housemate a light sleeper with excellent hearing is in next room in very small condo.
