I just read it....so scary. I don’t know what to do. Trudeau has publicly endorsed The Great Reset. People are so blind. All I can do is continue to say something to anyone in my small world who will listen.

Years ago I had friends trying to change the school system from within. They were pretty much shut out of everything.
I know it’s not feasible for everyone, but i wish more families would consider homeschooling. Many of the online programs are far cheaper than private school, and are led by real teachers. My boys did this as well as just school with me and they turned just fine, and had plenty of “social” opportunities through sports, co-ops, church, etc.
One of my friends was able to work nights so she could homeschool. Another worked during the day but schooled at night. It is doable, not easy, but there is so much at stake.

The Christian school I’m aware of up here is big into the critical race theory.
Not only that, but the kids have been home for months with lockdown, and are required to continue to pay their private school fees of well over $1,000 every month. For some reason they don’t think their teachers should have to go on unemployment like everyone else. It’s stunning. Even when the gal I know told them she wouldn’t be sending her kids back regardless, she was told she has to pay the tuition until the end of the school year.

True. There are soooooo many resources out there that I didn’t have 30 year ago. I remember being down in the school room 4 nights a week, late into the night, preparing all of the next day’s work....writing out pages of questions, math drills, etc. I kept all of the kids’ work - it was a sight to behold lol. Then my daughter needed the space (I had passed it along to her) so she picked out a few things and burned the rest! It felt like she was burning my kids lol. She’s not as sentimental as me with that kind of stuff. She also got rid of all of the cute outfits I had made for her and her brother. She kept a few of the nicer things, and the sweaters I knit, and goodbye to everything else lol. I got over it....eventually.
Now there are so many programs, so much for free online, and so many groups, etc. that you can join. People feel so intimidated to home-school. Honestly, if you consider how much time is actually wasted in school, and how much work and one-on-one instruction, or any instruction, they actually receive, home-schooling is a piece of cake....especially through the elementary years. Plus you can avoid all of the left’s agenda!
