Could be the infamous Short Tailed Rat.

Maybe a Sodpoodle they were chasing.

Roadrunner is too hard.

Ever seen a cave painting/drawing of a Roadrunner?

probably not, but where is the BBQ spit, the rub, etc. Philipinos have been burying pigs wrapped in banana leaves with herbs for years.

This painting will soon be erased.

Pigs aren’t halal. It is an offense to Islamists.

How the heck do they know how old it is????
Like with everything else they just pick a number....
Why don’t they show the cave drawings of Dinosaurs proving they lived along side man?

No picture is ok in Islam.

Only geometric shapes.

Oh, I know. Art museum here has been in love with “Islamic art” since 2002. Had to find something to balance perceptions after 9-11.

They don't call it “middle eastern” art or any such thing but I don't ever see them identifying collections/exhibits as “Christian art” even when Medieval works full of Christian iconography.

Geometric or calligraphy. That's all you get. And a limited color palette.

Depends on the flavor of Islam. Here's a page from an Iranian comic book.

Not even a matter of flavor.

More like “favor”.

The whole thing is generally acknowledged to be a fraud by most privileged practitioners

An Irish-Arabic Catholic scholar I knew spent a lot of time in Lebanon, and told me that some VERY respected Islamic men would go into "coffee" shops, and if they ordered a certain way, certain forbidden items would be served in the coffee/tea cups.

(This was many years ago. They also thought it was western chic to put ketchup on spaghetti, and that in the Popeye cartoons they assumed that Olive Oyl was representative of American women, and that Popeye and Bluto were fighting over the Spinach. Story still works that way, too, I guess. They also liked Bluto because he looked like an Arab.)

Probably created by some drunken Dutch colonists. If you do a thorough inspection of the area you might find empty beer bottles.

The painting was found on the island of Sulawesi, on which Christians form a substantial minority on the island. According to the demographer Toby Alice Volkman, 17% of Sulawesi’s population is Protestant and less than 2% is Roman Catholic. Christians are concentrated on the tip of the northern peninsula.

Though most people identify themselves as Muslims or Christians, they often subscribe to local beliefs and deities as well. It is not uncommon for both groups to make offerings to local gods, goddesses, and spirits.
