What do you guys suggest as an alternative to Gmail?
Looking for a good, solid, reliable email provider that is not interested in censoring people or hurting the USA.
I still thrive on AOL. They (all six of mine) are now dead accounts, but useful for signing up for online services and apps. As per actual professional COMMON SENSE BUSINESS, get a website related email. 😁
tutanota.com
Setup your own server with your own domain name.
Good luck.

Mail.com
Wild card here: WWW.FREEREPUBLIC.COM
Set up your own mail server like Hillary. It’s always with you and no one can turn it off except you or your power company. And no one other than you has access to it. That’s why Hillary had it.
I have an account on Tutanota, which is based in Germany. They emphasize privacy—you don’t have to disclose your cell phone number when you sign up for an account.
Perhaps, wrong thread?
Do a Hilliary...run your own mail server in your basement... :-P
Your internet service provider likely will give you a free email account. If you run it on a “client” (a software program that runs on your machine), it will never go through a server that monitors it. “Thunderbird” is a free client, but it comes from Mozilla. You can also use “Outlook” but you will have to pay Microsoft for it.
I also have used Mail.com and found it reliable.
Me too. Mail.com
I’ve heard from a software engineer friend that proton mail is a very secure choice. I’ve not personally looked into it but after this week I’m very motivated. Thanks for starting the discussion. Timely.
I refer to them as Facebook-Amazon-Google-Snapchat +
Or FAGS+ for short.
They need 67 votes to convict. Biden will go by 25th amendment. D’s don’t commit crimes.

Hillary says it’s easy, but not very secure. /s
I use startmail.com at $5/month.
It’s europe-based so it falls under different privacy laws, I’ve had it for several years and it’s been as good as gmail.
Research the people who created it.
Microsoft Mail comes bundled with Win10. (It's the old Outlook Express, not the old discontinued Microsoft Mail of history). As a side note, Microsoft will also throw in a free Outlook email account with your new Win10 machine.
As for the servicer provided email, Verizon dumped theirs on AOL, then bought AOL. Frontier's legacy users were dumped on Yahoo, but email wasn't offered to the customers they bought from Verizon. AT&T dumped its email on Yahoo. Which was then bought by Verizon. It looks like Spectrum may still offer hosted email services.
