What do you guys suggest as an alternative to Gmail?
Looking for a good, solid, reliable email provider that is not interested in censoring people or hurting the USA.

That is why they proceeded with the impeachment of Trump. Set a precedent with the 25th Amendment first, and if that didn’t work, go for the impeachment. (there is enough dirt to impeach Biden in a one day trial if that is what they want to do.)

Install the Thunderbird email client on your internet appliances, e.g. desktop, tablet, phone, etc, and follow your internet service provider’s instructions for configuring the email client.

I concur. ProtonMail. One of the few that does not ask for an alternate email or phone # or anything. Of course, you are screwed if you forget your password since that secondary information doesn’t exist— price of privacy.
I’m using Proton Mail. I have two new browsers: Brave, and a byproduct of Brave that Gab developed called Dissenter. Mozilla was getting uppity and the others I had were part of the GAFTA oligopoly.
Register your own domain name, get a low cost web host (you can do it for under $100 a year if you shop around) and run your own email account...
Or find a friend that has a web domain to give you an account. All my friends and ‘co-conspirators’ :-) have email accounts on one or more of my domains. That is about as much privacy and freedom from censorship you can get on the internet. And, it isn’t hard to do..
