Mozilla, developer of the Firefox internet browser, has argued that more must be done to keep Donald Trump and other “bad actors” out of cyberspace, prompting many to vow to never use the group’s services again.
In a blog post titled ‘We need more than deplatforming’, the open-source software community said that Twitter’s decision to permanently ban Trump from its platform didn’t go far enough in weeding out “hate” on the internet. While blaming Trump for the “siege and take-over” of the US Capitol on January 6, the non-profit tech group argued that “white supremacy is about more than any one personality.”
“We need solutions that don’t start after untold damage has been done.Changing these dangerous dynamics requires more than just the temporary silencing or permanent removal of bad actors from social media platforms,” Mozilla wrote.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!
Gotta miss the original Mozilla boss now for sure
My son uses a Russian browser
Loves it
You get all sorts of news western browsers don’t let in
Cant remember the name
BE CAREFUL with Opera. Believe ChiComs bought into that years ago. BACKDOORS.
No they don’t. Welcome to paper and pencil.
Seriously, we’ve known that virtually all online platform are owned and controlled by leftists for years - yet conservatives happily relied on communications under the control of their sworn enemy. You can’t blame the left for what it is doing because we’d do the same in their place.
If you doubt that, try posting liberal garbage on FR and see how long it takes before you are zotted.
[[ So, who gets to determine what “hate” is?]]
Simple answer is Marxists
I use Opera on my phone and like it a lot - especially the wrap around text feature. Great for reading FR.
Until this morning, I was using Firefox with Duck Duck Go to search. Will not use either of them again. I have now uninstalled Firefox and am using Brave.
Brave does it from Edge and IE, anyway. I am trying it out right now.
Microsoft is like the borg.
Brave has a lovely utility that allows you to fairly painlessly import settings from other browsers, including Firefox.
I use Safari as my browser, but my bank’s website gives me problems when I try to access their BillPay section. It keeps telling me that my adblocker is blocking, but it’s turned off. It also tells me my computer isn’t accepting cookies, but it is. I’ve called the bank about it numerous times, but they have no solution that works. The only way I can schedule payments of my bills is by using Firefox because there isn’t a problem with compatibility on the site. I hate having to use it, because I don’t trust it’s security, but I have no other option. The only time I open Firefox is to pay a bill. I don’t use my cell phone for banking, and refuse to start.
MS Edge is pretty decent. Chrome internals and can use Chrome addins.
I am all in for Brave.com! Been using it 98% of the time for the past 5 or so years. Love it!
Regardless, everything searched, seen or said is being collected to use in a kangaroo court at the deep state’s convenience.
That said, Freep on, my FRiends!
But the least evil of the Borg Overlords.
Grrrrr, this afternoon I replaced Chrome with Firefox! Well now installed Brave, it’s nice. Imported all stuff from my old browser and changed search to Duck.
Uninstalled just now. Shitty browser anyway.
Brave works well.
Just loaded the Brave browser app. When I went to the search bar a Google icon displays left of the search bar...wth? Is Brave affiliated with Google?
I don’t think it does. You might want to search for yourself “Does Brave browser support WebGL” or something like that.
I use it, works great and you can use duck duck go for search
Opera is part of Google. No Thanks.
