The more I see of him, the more I like him. He understands the limits of the office and doesn’t stick it to his own people. I hope he reconsiders quitting politics. If Trump doesn’t run in 2024, he could do worse than endorsing Pence.

I’m sorry but that is crazy talk. Or maybe you prefer Paul Ryan republicans?

Pence was a House leadership toady along with Boehner/Ryan/Cantor. He failed miserably as governor to stand up to cancel culture and on right to life. The only way Pence will ever be POTUS is if Trump is removed by the Uniparty.

Obvious and present moral support of our president would’ve been nice.

Trump is a big boy he doesn’t need Mike to hold his hand

Will she be keeping the Speaker position for long, or are there sneaks about?

I said moral support. Hand holding not necessary. It wasn’t only Trump who “lost”; it was Pence, too. He didn’t give a crap as he already knew he’d be fine ‘cause the fix was in.

No conspiracy theories. It’s politics 101. Exerting influence is what politic parties do. The GOP never substantively investigated the steal in places like GA and PA. The GOP controls GA, obviously. Yet the leaked call reveals the GA GOP was stonewalling a GOP WH.

Why was Pence not on the call with the GA GOP? Pompeo was. I find it very odd Pence was not on that call. He was after all on the ballot with Trump. He is just as much a victim of the steal as Trump is. Yet he is nowhere to be found. The whole situation is just very odd.

THE GEORGIA RESULTS
SEND IN AN ARMY OF FED PROSECUTORS AND DO THIS

There were a series of fraudulent voting charges here. Were they enforced and corrected before this election took place ? If they weren’t is not a review called for ?
If the Georgia Secretary of State is in charge of voting he has the responsibility of enforcing the state’s regulations as to who votes. And eliminate those from voter lists who don’t qualify.

Assign prosecutors to investigate and Check if military actually voted. Identify remove and charge Illegals and state visitors known as snowbirds if they voted and their residency and citizenship does not qualify them .

Then while including any technical computer testemony go to the court and get these results tossed. Try and get it done SAP before the 20th

Trump had very long coattails and he carried the Senate over the line in 2018 and nearly took the House this time around.

I think you're wrong in this assessment. The 2018 election cycle was an absolute disaster for the Republicans even in the Senate races.

Yes, the GOP picked up two seats in 2018. But that was an election cycle when they should have picked up more. There were 24 Senate seats held by Democrats contested in 2018, and only 9 held by Republicans. Look at all the states that Trump won in 2016 where the Democrat won a Senate election in 2018:

Arizona -- which turned out to be a complete disaster because the governor promptly appointed the loser (Martha McSally) to fill John McCain's old seat until 2020, when she suffered the ignominious distinction of losing BOTH Arizona Senate seats for the GOP
Michigan
Montana (how the hell does Montana NOT vote for a Republican?)
Ohio
Pennsylvania (GOP candidate Lou Barletta was Trump's biggest supporter in 2016, and he got his ass kicked in 2018)
West Virginia
Wisconsin

As I see it, there is far too much emphasis being put on the disastrous Senate elections in Georgia this week. The Republican Party effectively lost the Senate in 2018 when they didn't capitalize on an opportunity to make more gains in a year when they had so few seats to defend. It just took two years for this to materialize.

I blame him for throwing Flynn under the bus. He should have fallen on his sword then had he any honor.

I agree that his part was ceremonial but when there is obvious evidence of fraud, how can he count votes from the states that were not only fraudulent but contrary to their states constitution.

This is where the state legislatures should have stepped in and done one of two things:

1. Send a separate slate of electors to the Electoral College vote; or

2. Vote on a resolution calling on Congress NOT to accept the certified results on January 6th.

Absent one of these measures, there's no way in hell a VP should allow the House or Senate members from one state to overturn the electoral votes of another state.

Go back to 2016 and imagine a scenario where Joe Biden is the VP and Chuck Schumer contests the electoral votes from Pennsylvania or Wisconsin.

No. 'Effing. Way.

Your view is too simplistic. Need deeper gravitas on your part. If you think deeper, you may realize it.

So I will help you a bit. There is a reason why the US Constitution (UC) stipulates that only the VP is assigned this task of counting LEGAL & OFFICIAL elector counts. Why does UC say that? Any clerk can add electoral votes. Clerks in Senate & House add votes everyday.

So by a little deeper thinking, you might realize the UC wants only the Vice President to do the job of tabulating the electoral votes is because VP is likely to be more familiar (than just a clerk) if the elections in each states were carried out properly, legally and without mischief or fraud.

The UC intent clearly is to accept only electors resulting from clean and legal elections.

So....the VP can put electors from questionable states ON HOLD for further evaluation by SCOTUS or some other congressional committee.

I hope you can now understand the VP role on Jan 6th is not merely clerical.

So, you’re a fan of traitorous wimps?

After all that’s transpired, you’re still willing to vote for a traitorous Repuke? The Repugnican party is dead and good riddance.

Of course, this argument is for naught, considering that we now reside in a Communist dictatorship.

No more elections.

Just more BS trying to make Pence look good...All the stuff is staged

That being said, I still love the idea that she was put off like that.

This makes no sense. If the dumb ass waited 13 days, it’s over, by conventional wisdom.

What might she be in fear of?

There's a reason why Flynn was "thrown under the bus" in 2017, and Flynn has nobody to blame but himself.

Some of Flynn's phone calls to the Russian ambassador (Kislyak) in December 2016 were made on his personal cell phone while he was vacationing in the Dominican Republic. I can't even imagine how many foreign governments have access to the cell phone transmissions in a third world dump like the Dominican Republic.

That itself was such an egregious breach of national security that he should have been immediately disqualified from even working as a janitor in the White House.

National Security Adviser? What a joke. I think the guy is a moron.

It took him that long to decide if he wasn’t going to speak to her? Or just trolling.

Pence is still a backstabbing douche.
