And why, oh why, would members of the government feel like they were in danger from a large group of citizens?
Yes, at several outdoor events. Most recently the National Right to Life rally and the 2019 4th of July rally at the Lincoln Memorial. Last year's 4th was on the White House lawn and they had bullet proof glass behind him towards the Elipse.
Grey, maybe we can re-think that whole Nuke thing and change the DOE to the Department of Blackmail. At least plumbers with a Q clearance would have something more fruitful to burglarize than campaign strategies at hotels.
If “Temple” and “Mansion” blackmail are so much more effective (as we surmise) why bother with all that Uranium, Plutonium and junk to poison the earf with anyway.
If everyone is blackmailed then mutually assured destruction will resort to a circular stalemate.
Plus there is the added bonus of all the lucrative, sordid book and smut movie deals for whoever survives their mushroom cloud.
