To tour the house itself, you have to purchase a timed ticket; I’ve already purchased it. It’s for 11 a.m.

Perhaps an actual train ride/trip could be organized at some future date? Or a meet up where one of the very short train runs provides a dining and riding experience? Or a meal in a static rail car that has been turned into a dining facility?

I wanted to take a moment and thank you for what it is you do for the American Legion and for all of their members. I am a life member of post # 263 in Lincoln, IL. Between my travels and COVID, I haven’t found a Legion home out here in AZ, although there is a large active one nearby. I’ve resisted transferring my membership, AND if I ever did, I would need to get my DD214 from US MIL Records and they have all but forgotten me since the COVID thing. Still waiting...
