Unless the National Guard is going to be in DC to prevent patriots from assembling, I will probably be glad that they are there keeping AntiFA far away from Patriots. I do not trust the DC police, under the direction of mayor Bowser, at all.

Sounds like you got your car issues covered within the family. I don’t know how in the world you interpreted my message, I need to do a better job of proofreading. Sorry!

Excellent post Rusty. I don’t know how they are going to get away with it since it is obviously such a sexist language, but I don’t think we’re ever going to see Spanish disappear. We will probably be forced to learn it.

“I hate card problems too. Especially in blackjack”

LOL!

I apologized to lysie for my ridiculous post.

But I see you caught it as well :-)

Somehow I had the idea you had gotten another stray. Yeah animals don’t always get along. Especially cats!

That sounds are really like a really bad allergic reaction. Hope you feel better soon.

Have you decided if you’re going to DC? Sounds like you have the perfect opportunity, and it won’t be too expensive or require too much planning.

We could maybe out the absurdity to people that have a few brain cells. That’s what my purpose would be, tot to actually have it banned.

Hubby does most of the remodeling himself, with Contracting out parts of jobs like drywall. Things he hates doing.

BUT we noticed the HGTV shows estimates come in even lower than what we pay, with just paying for materials! Now they might get some kind of contractor discount but still!

I had to cancel a dr appointment last month because I woke up with allergies. When I called to reschedule the woman was screeching,”did you get a covid test?” Did you get a covid test?”. I finally told her that I’m NOT going to run around like a chicken with its head cut off and get a covid test every time I have allergies.

On a good note, my DIL made some delicious zuppa toscana soup yesterday and brought me a big bowl of it last night. Just ate it for lunch and I feel better already!

The majority of it was starting Victoza for my diabetes; the way it works is it slows the speed in which your stomach empties food. You feel full (because you are!) so you don’t eat as much. Many people who take it lose weight (Paula Deen was on it-don’t know if she still is) but that’s a side effect. The rest was Weight Watchers where I actually attended the meetings. I’ve put some back on with it being online only due to COVID.

No need to be sorry. I understood perfectly. Remember, when younger I wanted to be a proofreader.

Whoops! Saw this after I posted. Post 495, please. 😀

I’ve landed, got the rental car and now having lunch. Neither the Garmin in the rental or my phone GPS wanted to cooperate to get me to the restaurant I picked for lunch. Both said no satellite signal. 🙄. But you can’t keep an old truck driver down!

At a place called Lost Dog Cafe; besides being a pizza and deli place, they also have a dog rescue charity. https://www.lostdogcafe.com/about-us/. I ordered a cup of soup; the cup is Fiestaware mug!

I’m glad the soup help! I make that recipe also, trying to copycat Olive Garden. It has hot italian sausage which should make it spicy and help clear your passages :-)
