Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have been together for 37 years -- and the Hollywood couple have zero plans to tie the knot.
The duo first began dating while filming 1984’s “Swing Shift” and have since built a life together without the need to get married.
“You’ve just got to want to be together,” the actress told People magazine in this week’s cover story.
“I don’t think there’s any other way to do it,” added the 75-year-old.
Despite their union, the pair have been selective when it comes to working together, the outlet shared. They appeared together in 1987’s “Overboard” before Hawn made a cameo appearance in Russell’s 2018 Netflix film “The Christmas Chronicles.”

Been with my husband for 30 years. If anything happened to him, I would not marry again.
The Lord made only one of him and I could not love another.
I will never again enter into a contract where a party is allowed to profit by breaking it.
What does "steps our from time to time" mean?
We’ve been married 37 years, same year as Kurt & Goldie.. No complaints. I won the marriage lottery. Living together without the vow is missing something.
With regard to relationships and marriage....one size does not fit all.
Only socialists would say it “must be done a certain way” to be valid.
Depends on if you’re talking about traditional Christian values or the current ones adopted when the Church allowed itself to be co-opted by pop culture and the state.
She wants the paper along with the actual commitment plus a Church wedding. She’s traditional in the 19th century sense and I won’t deny her. FWIW: this is number two for me and the first one was conducted by my cousin who was certified via an online course. ;)
I’ll chime in here
Marriage as it is later in the Bible is much more than a piece of 📝 paper my FRiend !
Commitment is the first word; Relationship is the second. Trust is the third
If you are a man and you realize your place in a marriage- it’s all about her
In fact it’s 100% about her !!! and her needs !!! desires !!! and thoughts and opinions
And your place , As a man in the marriage.
to always in public and private let her know that!!!!
This is the woman that created and gave birth to your children; Nursed them until they could have whole food; And the bringer of life and joy to you!
There is no body ; and bodily desires It is so much MORE than that !
To be given the holy gift of a wonderful enlightened, caring and compassionate woman !!!
is to be given the shiniest diamond !! the most beautiful sunset!!!
Every day
They are, Kurt is a huge supporter of the 2nd. You ever see their son Wyatt? He looks just like Kurt. I saw him in this crazy movie called “Overlord” last month.
He takes care of his needs outside the home but comes home and is still a family man. I have known other who had this type of arrangement.
The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes was pretty good too.
If you can marry your dog or a doorknob, what good is marriage?
Sock it to me baby!
So true!
Others may mock you but what you said makes sense to me after a failed first marriage. An important caveat is that a man chooses a woman he can commit to, but also makes sure that she is worthy of it in terms of trust, stability, compatibility. Also make sure that you as a man are mature enough to handle this responsibility and don’t carry in with you any issues that can destroy the marriage on your end. Marriage isn’t a fairy tale, it isn’t a happy hallmark TV movie, it requires work and trust.
Why their not married? Easy! No fear of God...
Did you tell Kurt that you thought he was dead?
My first one was in a church and lasted 7 years. Second one was at the courthouse and still going after 37 years. Too young and stupid the first time. A little wiser second time around.
Why marriage?
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.
Do you want to be commended at the Judgment Seat of Christ?
Do you want to reflect God’s planning, design and will?
Do you care about His creation of humanity as male and female?
Do you want to be in His institution that reflects the relationship of Christ and His Church?
