What nice relatives you have!
Merry Christmas!
Yep, me too.
That said, I live in ‘shared accommodation’ with five other people. We are merely just acquaintances, at best.
As my church is limited to just 15% capacity, per the current CCP-Coronavirus rules, I was unable to reserve a place in time, so I’ll be watching the 7:00 service tonight and then going to bed. Originally scheduled to work tomorrow, I shan’t be because my car died and City transit won’t get me there on time. Instead, tomorrow will be time to call relatives and friends across Canada.
Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Yep. I was hoping to attend church service tonight but it was cancelled, so just me by my lonesome. I’ll be keeping you and everyone else spending this holiday in my thoughts and prayers.
Merry Christmas and may the Lord be with you.
Merry Christmas!!
You know, I lost a pup on Tuesday. He was 17 years old. I was feeling down then I read a pals post on Twitter that she was headed to her village grocery in the UK. She said they use an app to find shops that might have excess food. Since they’re in level 4 lockdown, food & necessities are hard to come by. I decided then that I wasn’t going to feel bad for myself any longer. Those folks are living like WW2 & I have all I need & want, except for my little pup. It reminded me of the true reason for the Christmas holiday....it’s easy to forget it sadly. I hate it when I do that!
My first Christmas alone. But not totally since it will be with Jesus. Planning on some festive food, Bible study time, a hike if the weather permits, chores, and some time on FR.
Just me and the wife cleaning the house for some friends tomorrow. The big once a year cleaning. We have a pile of dog hair 2 feet high.
I am alone except for Malcolm, my noble scottish terrier. (Maybe “noble” is too strong a word.) The thing is, I live like a hermit most of the time anyway. I enjoy it. My youngest son died a year and a half ago. He was born on Christmas day in 1982. I have made it my deepest desire to hold him again one day and I know it will happen. ‘Til then I am quite content and at peace with the knowledge that Ben is with his savior, just as I will be one fine day. We serve a mighty God. He has promised to “be with us always, even until the end of the age.” God bless you my friend. I am 70.
If dogs count, I’m not alone. He’s my best buddy!
Merry Christmas FRiends!
Ya gotta have the dog. Wife just got off work and had mashed potatoes and stuffing that I made plus some smoked herring
Dogs DO count, but they can’t do calculus.
Yep. Flying solo, accompanied by my cat, Desmond.
And to you too
I’m here with my wife and five oblivious cats, but we’re with you there in spirit, along with all you other solo-flying Freepers. Merry Christmas.
Amen.
