Just wondering if any of my fellow Freepers are, like me, spending Christmas Eve solo.
Unlike previous years, however, I'm not quite alone, as I am now sharing my home with a two year old Greyhound I adopted last Spring.
Other than he and I, it's a cozy, quiet, peaceful and solo Christmas Eve. How about everyone else?
........but most importantly my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Who was born to die for each of us. That if we believe, the Holy Spirit dwells inside of us, ready to help us along life’s way. Have a blessed Christmas everyone. Keep CHRIST in your CHRISTmas.

Made a big pot of Christmas jambalaya and fed the three feral cats hanging around. We’re never really alone....

Wife and I are now at home with our Dog and Cat. But we spent the afternoon with our son and DIL and 2 granddaughters. Tomorrow we are off to our spend the afternoon with our daughter SIL and 2 grandsons. COVID be damned.

The cats got a can of Bumble Bee albacore tuna as a Christmas Eve treat.
I am enjoying the sounds of the Raleigh Bell Ringers, to be followed by the Mormons big Tabernacle Show.
And I’m drinking an ice cold Killian Red.

I have 2 furball Arabians out in their paddocks munching dinner, and a new (to me) year old female German Shepard at me feet.

I live alone, and have for most of my life. Out of 63 adult years, I spent only about 45 months with a partner. Both were serious mistakes. I left the play ground.
A relative is here since he lost his and housing job last March. He went to bed
I just finished watching Miracle on 34th Street. I haven’t seen it in years. Btw it us free in HD tonight on Roku.
It made me feel as happy as a child.

I was supposed to have family but they changed their plans, lied about it, and then posted on Facebook what they’re doing.

My dad, may he RIP dod 11/11/20, used to say he “had to piddle”. Are you a yupper?
It’s kinda nice being alone, compared to the hellish verbal abuse I took from my “family”.

Not alone...wife and I are enjoying a quiet evening with each other watching the snow come down in the mountains of East Tennessee...very peaceful. NOBODY on the roads. ALL relatives a thousand miles away. Sweet. :-)

All my 15 + dogs over 56 years have slept on the bed. All were NOT fair about space allocation.
